CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Numerous law enforcement officers carrying out a task force operation were shot Monday afternoon as they came under fire in Charlotte, North Carolina, police said.
Officers from several agencies in the U.S. Marshals Task Force were carrying out the investigation in a suburban neighborhood when “a subject” began firing at them, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

That laws or rules are going to be enforced at some time isn’t quite fair to the hood rats. They’ve been on an almost four year crime spree for a while now. To suddenly expect them to register, insure, and be licensed to drive, not sell drugs or guns, not steal cars, not modify weapons, pay child support, obey traffic laws, obtain permits for large gatherings, etc.....is just racist and unfair.

US Marshals Service serving a Warrant with CMPD as Backup.
1 US Marshal is dead per local news station and 2 other officers (unknown) shot last I heard on TV about an hour ago.
CMPD controlling traffic to keep clear for Ambulances to get to Hospital quickly, traffic is a mess and rush hour is not going to be pretty. IH-77/277 shut down as well as other major roads in NW Charlotte “Uptown”. Major traffic northbound IH-77 is bad enough as it is.
