TOM CLANCY: First we crippled the CIA. Then we blamed it.

No Tom. That is extremely insulting. Don't lump me among the brainless, please.

TOM CLANCY: First we they crippled the CIA. Then we they blamed it.

It wasn't just the CIA, it was Defense intelligence and counterespionage and counterterrorism as well. Gorelick was the continuantion of the trend that began under Carter of rewarding a weird collection of feminists and nutty envirowackos with high positions and no one dare say that people such as Maddy, may have been firsts, but they were incompetent. Can one think of an AG, for example, in our history less competent than Reno? Gorelick's experience was largely as a local bar politico, and yet she wound up virtually running the place while Reno spent all her time when she could focus protecting the Chinese Carry Out.

She is without peer on the Incompetence Index.

......and protecting all of the conniving Clintons' illegal activities..........

I think the key to all of these miserable appointments was a deep hatred of a powerful America that came from the late 1960/70's.

Carter started the deballing process with our military and our intel assets. There was a pause with Reagan and George Bush as President. However many of the appointments of Carter remained and burrowed themselves into the state, defense, law and intel agencies during Ronald's and George's terms. Then when the Clintoons appointed traitors like Reno, Gorelick and the Mad One as SOS, they had this corp of anti Americans in the departments waiting for them.

When the top law enforcement agencies are topped off with anti Americans, soon there is no controlling legal authority as per the Goron's comment during the Chinese takeout of our nation secrets.

If al Querry is elected, this process of Anti Americans manning the key agencies will be repeated. Then, we can kiss this country good bye.
