Sorry to see that you're getting flak from Nebraska fans that can't see reality. Nebraska is corrupt. There are NFL teams that refuse to draft Nebraska players because so many of them are discipline cases. There are a lot of Nebraska alumni football players that should be in prison.

Back a few years ago, it was revealed that Nebraska was awarding college degrees to ball players that literally couldn't read and write. The administration of the school, when they caught some flak, wasn't the slightest bit apologetic. They were indignant that the public would have the terrible nerve to question their judgement. The administration of the Nebraska Cornhuskers are like the Clintons. They can do anything they want and their loyalists will back them. I'm not sure if the Nebraska loyalists are as insane as the IU backers, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I've been trying to make this point . . . in vain. The Nebraska football team is a criminal enterprise. They shouldn't even be on the field.

Crouch gets more attention because of his running ability and flair for the unorthodox. But if you want a quarter back who can stand in the pocket, pick off the wide receivers and move the offense down the field quickly, Grossman is the guy.

I think college football is deliberately designed to be controversial. If Nebraska ends up in the Rose Bowl after what Colorado did to them, I'll refuse to watch.

Roll down your window and throw out that crack pipe.If corrupt is what you are looking for look in your own back yard first. A majority of Nebraska players start as walk ons and work there way on to the team.

Actually I think you all are going to win. Just think it would be funny to see the BCS get messed up! Don't have a favorite in this game but guess we (OU) get to play LSU if they lose! LSU has our old head coach Gary Gibbs as their defensive coordinator so you all should score a lot of points!

He can put that Heisman trophy on a shelf in his apartment in Canada when he's playing in the Canadian leagues.

should have been Antwaan Randle El of Indiana University

Absolutely right. The most exciting guy in football for years [on a sub-mediocre team.]

Not far off of the truth, I live here and went to school there. Academics has always taken second or third fiddle to the FB program and has suffered from this since the early 70s when I went to school there. Back then, I knew several local police who related all of the crap big red players got into, some of which was common knowledge on campus, and it seems that anything short of murder would be forgiven and swept under the rug. It seems to be the same now. I told my kids that if they wanted to go to a state school in Nebraska, then go to the University at Omaha, much less caught up in the big red rooter frenzy and much more emphasis on academics. And yes, they seem to have a lot of under the counter support in the polling orgs.

Best college player out there, but not enough hype and a slow start killed him (thanks mostly to not starting him at QB).
