Would like to cast a vote for Mr Lincoln Chafee (R- RI) for making a clymer out of himself time and time again. According to Chafee we need to be more compassionate to Johnny Jihad Walker, the traitor.

People are really starting to dislike this yellow &$^$%$%

What you stated in your post is completely TRUE.Let me add, another way of saying it is:"Trent Lott Has No Spine" and I am embarrassed that he represents the Republican Party on TV as well.Has he EVER gotten Mad/Passionate about ANY issue, ever? It took Newt years to leave and he's a hell of alot happier and more FREE TO SPEAK.I think Trent Lott just loves being in a position of power.Where's the "____ you" PASSION,to get in Daschles face???THAT'S what I want thrown back at Tom Daschle! (he's AKA "The Professional Mis-Leader)

Ralph Regula, subcommitte chairman, who blocked consideration of the Vitter Amendment that would have stripped Planned Parenthood of $66 million of taxpayers money. Instead, this billion dollar babykilling organization, that spent millions to defeat George W. Bush, continues to get my tax dollars. Thanks Ralph.

Both have sold themselves out and badly. Father cast vote in favor of partial birth abortion before his death.

>> Since it's "Of the Year", I'll second that...if it was "Of the Decade", it would have to be McPain <<

Sorry, Governor Ryan of Illinois beats out McCain by a mile. At least McCain PRETENDS to a Republican. When McCain was casting a token vote to remove Clinton, Governor Ryan was out defending Bubba. When McCain was voting to pan partial-birth abortion, Ryan was vetoing a bill that would have ended funding for it. When McCain was sending out mail denying he had a rift with George Bush, Ryan was gloating that he hoped the "hard right" of "his" party would LOSE.

Hell, Ryan's so far to left, he probably thinks Dasshole is conservative.

"A true Libertarian might take the view, for example, that people ought to be able to drive as fast as they want as long as they don't hurt anyone else."

Yeah, that's Absolutist Libertarianism and not what I consider libertarianism. A concept I do believe would sell with the Sheeple is Federal Libertarianism, in which even the speed limit concept you eschew in yer example would suffice against an argument for Federally-mandated speed limits. If the States or Localities want to mandate said limits, they can argue it out amongst themselves, but the Feds have no say in the matter whatsoever!! For instance, I was in Montana for a wedding a coupla years ago and the speed limit outside of City Limits was something like "Safe and Reasonable" or "Reasonable and Prudent," meaning in essence that if you wrecked or were seen outta control, you got a ticket for speeding, otherwise you could drive as fast as you wanted and nobody messed with you.

Of course, Federal Libertarianism is also known as Constitutionalism, which our Founding Fathers wisely put into place, but our SCOTUS has gradually allowed to be eroded.

"Bush doesn't have any conservatism in his makeup, Slim."

Couldn't disagree more, my FRiend...Larry Kudlow said it best when he told Limbaugh, "George W. Bush is the Conservative Mole within his own Administration."

"Every single one of his kneejerks has been a socialist knee jerk. We must have been watching two different Geedubs, you and I."

Apparently so...I think you have Dubyuh mixed up with his Milquetoast Moderate Daddy.

"Since Reagan left office, there has been a steady culling of the ranks of conservatives. I'm not talking about the rank and file, though the number of conservative spear carriers has been dwindling since '96. Face it. The GOP's conservative element is done for. The leadership's brief flirtation with conservatism ended when Reagan left office."

You may be willing to take yer ball and go home whining that you just ain't got what it takes to fight the RINOs, but I prefer to stay and fight the good fight. RINOs count you amongst their biggest allies when you spew nonsense like that...whatever. Enjoy the Inconsequential Wilderness of ThirdPartyism, my FRiend...I'll continue to check in with y'all and let you know what's going on up here on the front line of the CounterCounterCulture War.
