It's crap like this (stupidity) that gives gun owners a bad rep. The first friggin' thing you learn is to never point a gun at anyone, loaded or not, in a non-defense situation.

We've two threads up about citizens using guns correctly in self defense (one of them an 11yo) and now this. I guess only the police and military should have guns. They have the proper training, after all... Sarah Brady says so.

There is no excuse for this guy. Send him back to security guard, armed with a cell phone and a flashlight. Had a LOADED gun, pointed it at a child in a demo, and managed to pull the trigger? Total incompetence.

He had a gun pointed in some ones direction.

Thinking you may treat a weapon you think is unloaded differently than one you know to be loaded is how accidents happen.

So this was a demonstration of gun? Gun safety? Hard to tell here. But I guess he demonstrated what NOT to do. He apparently violated every gun safety rule I ever learned. Now I'll want to be hearing from Sarah Brady that the police shouldn't be armed.

This is worth repeating.
