I'd bet a LOT of money it's why we see so many "investigations" stonewalled.
There are dirty hands on BOTH sides of the fence.

Thanks for the flag. While listening to talk radio, I noticed that many news outlets are not being slow recently to point out that Democrats have gotten political donations from the shady Enron company. In fact, it seems the news outlets are being a little more thorough than usual in researching the matter.

Two years ago BOBTHENAILER's letter would have gone straight to the roundfile. Perhaps the acceptance of BOBTHENAILER's letter at this time signals a sea change in politics by the intelligentsia. How will they feel when they discover the VRWC thinks as they do that Enron is the tip of the scandalous scamberg?

This whole thing should backfire with blowback, unfortunately nearly the entire political establishment has dirty hands so it will go nowhere -- they just want to look like they are doing something.

The real scandal is the waste, graft, theft and corruption inside the myriad federal agencies and programs. $2.3 trillion is unaccounted for in the defense department alone! Not to mention $3B missing from the Indian Affairs, $10's of billions from education, etc. Talk about lousy accounting practices, our Federal Government takes the cake.
