It wasn't hard to do. EVERYONE has been beating them at homw....and on the road.

How did Nieuwendyk escape their grab ... he'd be the differnce for your club.

Not just slower, but many features are moved around inexplicably. So now it takes more clicks to find things, and longer between clicks for pages to load. And I've got DSL!

The Flag in the left sidebar slows scrolling and wastes space.

The News vs. General Interest Balkanization was not a positive development. This takes things worse.

FR is less convenient and less fun, so far.

I have to say as someone who does this for a living all day I see pros and cons

PROS:

Graphically it looks great however, it is very very hard to navigate.

CONS:
1. Hard to navigate
2. Post are posted too fast. No breaking news and bam its off the radar never to be seen again
3. Can't get a quick over view of what's going on

I was around, and I remember. What I remember is that Jim and John listened to the posters (Even talked back to them) then they made many changes until in most ways the format was exactly the same as the old format with just a few bells and whistles added. Some of which were quite nice and useful. This is not that. This is stupidity. Why Jim would allow his tried and tested format to go out the window is every bit as exasperating to understand as his sudden caving of principles during 911. Maybe the two are related. Maybe there is a CIA man standing behind him with a gun.(LOL)This is Awful!

That's fine if you're going for the prettiest site. I didn't think that was ever JimRob's intention. Thank God the threads themselves are still readable....once you can get to them, but the layout on the latest posts page and the self-search or "my comments" page is just terrible and the blue font is unbearable for doing much reading. I find my attention wandering constantly. I forget what it is I was doing.

Perhaps all of you that are speaking up now could have:

1 - bothered to check out the Beta in the last week or two and commented then.

2 - fought the complainers that hated to even see threads that they didn't think were worthy of FR and demanded their eyes be spared from seeing them, as they posted their rants on every unpolitical, humorous, religious or fun thread they saw.

When I click on Locale, I go everytime to a long window of State/Country site choices. Can I choose just to go to my own state autmatically instead of having extra pages to click through each tme? FR carpal tunnel is growing...
