Clinton White House axed terror-fund probe

The Clinton administration shut down a 1995 investigation of Islamic charities, concerned that a public probe would expose Saudi Arabia's suspected ties to a global money-laundering operation that raised millions for anti-Israel terrorists, federal officials told The Washington Times.

Law enforcement authorities and others close to the aborted investigation said the State Department pressed federal officials to pull agents off the previously undisclosed probe after the charities were targeted in the diversion of cash to groups that fund terrorism.

For awhile on FR, it appeared that only you and I were on to the financing of the Clintoons by the OPECKER Princes and other terrorists in the Middle East.

I want to see the financial connections between the OPECKER Princes and Mullah Shorty Da$$hole. Shorty Da$$hole has kept the vote for drilling in ANWR bottled up by himself. Maybe those computers seized at that Islamic charity in Texas the week before 9/11 would have yielded a lot of information, given time.

I think your memory is better than mine. I don't remember any charities being raided that week, and this is all I have in my notes: Texas Company Suspected of Making Illegal Shipments to Libya and Syria has Export Privileges Suspended. The press release is dated Sept.7th.

Accusations that the Saudi government used charities as front organizations to fund international terrorism are long-standing, first surfacing 20 years ago when U.S. intelligence officials warned Congress that the Saudis had taken over the direct funding of terrorist groups such as Islamic Jihad and Hamas.

The raid on InfoCom was in Dallas on September 5, 2001 a Wednesday. InfoCOm shared the same board members as Holy Land FOundation (the charity across the street) and the same Bush/Clinton attornesys -Adkin& Gump. InfoCOm ran a global web site service for Holy Land and HAmas and Saudi(royals and businessmen) supporters of Bin Laden for Iraq to transfer funds. THe Feds knew something was up before the raid on 9/6/01 and something from the raid before 9/11/01. The FBI had been monitoring Holy Land and InfoCOm since 1993 and knew in detail all along about their terror activities.
