Good job for Dobson. It would be better if the folks could take their school tax dollars out of the system along with their children.

In this case, I thing frequent re-posts are a good idea. Not many mothers get a chance to monitor FR daily. This is a courageous and committed man. Hope it catches on.

You go, Dobson!

I am so glad we got out years ago. It's only going to get harder, as the State Reconditioners see their exclusive franchise increasingly threatened.

Get out while you still can!

Thank you . . . I took my 15 year old out of PS after the 5th grade. Her heart for God is now protected. Praise Him!

What took him so long!? For years he kept saying that public education was not that bad.

Perhaps the strongest voice ever heard on this subject was that of R. J. Rushdoony who nearly 40 years ago exposed public education for little more than government sponsored brainwashing. He wrote two books that are especially noteworthy on this topic and which are still in print: Intellectual Schizophrenia and The Messianic Character of American Education.

My father was a counselor at Focus for 10 years or so. I never had the chance to meet Dr. Dobson but, everyone there in Colorado Springs that I did meet was really nice.

The building is gorgeous.

After putting three kids through the system... I can still hear the mantra of the school system.

"Be tolerant of everything, judgemental of nothing"

I'm beginning to believe that it's time for the publik skool systems in this country to go completely private. However, I suspect it would have to be gradual to avoid scaring the bejeebers out of people: eliminate fed funding and regs first; state funding and most state regs, second; and local funding and most local regs lastly.
