I have figured out who the mole was that leaked classified information to CBS concerning 9-11

Who was the mole who released this information to the press on a classified memo concerning the hijacking of Airliners before 9-11? The mole can be traced to the office of Rep Alcee L. Hastings (D-23FL). Remember FoxNews Reported today House Democrats had seen the same memo that President Bush did last August. Rep Alcee L. Hasting happens to sit on the committee for select intelligence as well as the committee for International Relations the same committee that Cynthia McKinney happens to sit remember she railed on public radio that President Bush knew the attacks 9-11 where going to take place but did not stop them. Someone if not Hastings leaked this to CBS to make Bush look foolish

Why wouldn't Hastings have released it sooner then. It just hits me as odd that after the WH released the memos to the senate is when this story broke. I have not heard that the House was having an investigation only the senate.

I demand that McKinney be removed from the intelligence committee or any other committee receiving confidential security briefings. She is funded by terrorists groups and if the Democrats do not take her off these committees - she and they are responsible for any future terrorist attacks on us.

What is interesting to me about this "revelation" is the timing as it took the Air Force One "photo" off the front page and deep sixed it over nite. Let's see what "crisis" breaks tomorrow.

The House Ethic Committee was recently taking up the complaint that The AARLC and other groupd made against McKinney concerning her on air rant about Bush know something about 9-11. It seem to be a up and shut case until this. One of the members who received our press release demanding McKinney's removal was Hastings I found out.

And why shouldn't this memo be released? Do you prefer that the government keep embarassing information secret? IMHO most classified material is so designated to cover up government malefeasance or emabarassement.

The bigger question is who else knew of the President's plan to take on and take out Osama and Co.? There is evidence that the attacks were moved up. Were any of the intellegence committees briefed on the President's plan?

Hey Ski as a veteran who handled classified information I can tell you if this memo was still classified at the time it was release someone's damn head should roll. When you hold investigation into classified memo you are asking to a fluster cluck. The general public has no right to know how we collect classified information and to use classified information for political gain is wrong! What will they gain by doing this? Nothing!!!

Either way, the US Govt gets threats DAILY of hijackings of our airliners around the World. Daily. This "news" they released is a message they got from OBL from last year. It was not saying that 4 aircraft would be hijacked and flown into buildings. It was non specific, could take place anywhere in the World for any reason (such as in exchange for release of political prisoners).

Just an attempt but the sick people in America to trash President Bush.

They actually have everything to lose if your compelling conclusion withstands the test of time. Of course, when the fit hits the shan they will fall back on the "TIME knew about it in the 90s" defense, a variation of the "everybody does it" defense Klintoon employed. Not gonna work tho, these days the public will find the leak not only distasteful, but an actual threat to their well-being. If they'd leak this, what else have they done/would they do for political gain?

I agree, but I don't see that this accusation has any legs. None of the guys who actually did the bombings were connected to the Phoenix memo, the heads-up was extremely vague, and Congress received much of the same info and did nothing. The RATS--and the Leftist Medyuh--may turn out looking pretty stooopid once folks get past the blatantly-biased headlines we've seen for the last 24 hours and discover the facts behind the spin.
