Terrorist won't be the death of America but Porn & Sexual Americans will

It started with an idea. Naked people sells. America has fed into the lie about sex and porn. Making it a daily meal. They worship sex and porn much like a religion.

There is a threat to take the soul of America and it comes from porn. Sure the terrorist wants to kill but porn kills the very soul of a people.

Now we are being attacked with porn via the internet. UnWanted emails that offer every kind of sick attack to the soul using porn and all its sickness. Or using any major search engine with just a keyword or two and Porn is opened up for all to taste. This is a major attack happening and it is slowly turning a great nation into a very very sick nation. Just read the news headlines day after day and what the porn is doing to people and their minds that they do such sick sick acts on others, innocent others.

Yes Terrorist won't be the death of America but Porn & Sexual Americans will.

If we make porn and sex illegal, then the terrorists will have won!

Think about it.

Appy gave up actually arguing with libertarians a long time ago. Now he makes up his own version of their arguement and rails against that. It's nice actually, he gets to have his own little imaginary conversation, and everybody else ignores him.

Yep, this country just went downhill when people started having sex.

Good one, Dimensio. I have serious problems when porn is pushed in our kids' faces against our will. I (and they) see it in the QuickCheck in our suburban NJ community, it's sent in our E-mails (and I cannot allow our kids to use our E-mail unless we check it first), it's common to pop up on the computer screens by accident, it's increasingly on TV, even during family hours, naked (and aroused) men and women peer out at us from a great many newsstands in New York City, it's widely distributed in our public high schools (and school officials do little to stop that), and finally, it's visible to kids in our town public library as people get their porn fixes on the public dime. I think a lot of damage has been done to kids. It's sad.

you know what we should do? Outlaw sin. We can start with porn, alcohol, and gambling.

You left out "thinking for yourself."

The Taliban made porn and sex illegal. They also banned playing football with a dead goat. B*st*rds!

There's a few different species that give one the desired affect, and "Psilocybin" in is the active chemical, not the shroom itself, the correct genus name is "Psilocybe" - not to quibble or anything :-)

How, exactly, is porn destroying America

From within plain and simple. From the family unit to the churches, it is the hidden sin that no one has to know about but has absolute outside consequences. It has destroyed families, marriages, pastors, men and women alike. By causing us to give into our most base physical needs.

But of course, we 'want' to do it, there's not a law against it, so it's okay right? There is a higher moral law that this nation once followed but no more. We're too advanced socially to do anything like that, aren't we?

I'm Ron Jeremy

You wish...well sort of...he's mighty uglee. I've been around him at a club in Lauderdale a dozen years ago. He was sweaty and stinky....probably snorting a lot of local blow.

Seriously, I'm ambivalent on this topic. I do agree our morality is pretty shabby and many folks...liberals in particular have substituted feeling or thinking good for being "responsible". This other trend of earth/goddess/Gaia paganism which elevates plant and animal life over humans also troubles me as immoral. Why do more folks fret over brutalized pets than they do over dead babies?

Yep, we are FUBAR morality-wise but I'm reluctant to place all the blame at the feet of abandoning sexual mores. It's a lot more than that. The Porn explosion is in my view more a symptom than a cause.

regards

What I find odd is that AppyPapy is drawing a link between child porn posession and child molestation...but child pornography is already illegal. What more would be proposed?

So are you saying that if there were no porn, there would be no child molesters?

No it's merely a coincidence that you find child porn with molesters.

Whose daddy is licking what?

See, see what you have wrought by linking to porn!

Babylonian and Junior's dads will never be the same.

How come there are no threads that have hysterical anti-jaywalking messages? Dammit, its time to put a stop to the true scourge of the USofA!

Ban Jaywalking

Junior's dad's deceased, so odds are he won't be changing anytime soon.

There is a higher moral law that this nation once followed but no more.

You may like to believe that, but it's not true. Humans have always been promiscuous, no matter what church they belonged to or how piously they preached their own chastity. It just used to be kept much quieter in the past.

Name a decade, name a century, it doesn't matter. Husbands and wives were still cheating on each other, and single people were having sex with multiple partners.

Hey, remember Caligula?
