I thought that many states' sodomy laws prohibited sex acts with animals along with sex acts with oraffices other than compatible genitalia. Some states later amended to permit "unnatural" coupling between male and female humans but left the other acts against the law.
Passing a new law against this makes it seem like it is a growing trend. I guess that the growing number of offenders is not large enough to constitute a "constiuency". Where is the "Zoophiliacs for Donkeys" organization in the Democrat party?
