White Spot's famous 'Triple-O' sauce is essentially mayo with condiments. And White Spot is as West Coast as cedar trees. ;^)
This new thing for mayo-dipped french fries is too French for me, though.
Preferring ketchup over garlic-flavored mayo on fries probably separates North Americans from Europeans. ;^)

"Cajun" is a corruption of "Acadian". The Acadians were French Canadians who were driven out by the English. It's history, it really happened.
