The trash was picked up at 7:30 AM, in my neighborhood. And, for rest of the day, my beautiful blue trash can shall sit at the curb! I figure that at least a hundred cars will have to see that bright red "DUMP DAVIS" bumper sticker before sun down. The can and the sticker, they just seem to go together.

Anyone else out there have a bumper sticker story/suggestion?

If you get your hand on two of them it's also good to post one on the side. If you face the trash can from the front, then you would post it on the right side. That way, traffic driving on your side of the street sees it.

Of course if you live on a cul-de-sac like a do, you should probably post three, one on each side and one on the front.

Like you, I leave my cans out all day even when they get emptied before I leave.

Help me with this one... I don't think I see a disclaimer on the sticker such as "Paid political advertisement paid for by xxxx. So Andso, Treasurer" such as is required in a lot of states. Does California not have such a law?

The advertising is free. Nobody was paid to advertise "DUMP DAVIS" on his trash can.
Official campaign bumper stickers and yard signs usually do not have disclaimers, either.

They're not really bumper stickers. They are moving signs.
A dump truck is at least eight feet tall. At 11 X 22 the signs will be visible for twenty car lengths.
Think of it, 95° in LA, ten miles an hour on the 405...

There it is in front of you, for minutes at a time...
