In case you missed it, I was pointing out that the results of medical examination disproved the "PUNCHES TO THE HEAD" and "neck and brain injuries" you two (and others) had assured us were the facts of the case.
I am glad you did not. Thank you for mentioning this. I would like to mention that nowhere did I say that beating a child was a good thing to do, and yet many have suggested that I did.
My point is that the media, (for reasons of their own), and mob mentality, have hyped into hysteria FReepers who ought to know better.

How do you know there were bruises? You are making a supposition and a characterization by claiming that the family was "hiding" the child. Where should the child have been, if not with her family? I agreed with Mike4Freedom that the family should have immediately taken the child to a doctor for medical examination to either prove or disprove injury to the child. If they waited eight days it certainly hurts their case. But we do know that the child has now been examined and shown to be without physical injury. She is described by the prosecutor as being "a sweet, wonderful girl. Physically she looks fine."

Madelyne Gorman Toogood, 26, of Mishawaka, Ind., surrendered to police on Saturday to face a child battery charge eight days after the nationally televised videotape depicted her shaking and slapping her daughter in a department store parking lot.

The article on FOX says, "Toogood also claims she wasn't looking around the parking lot before the beating began...." That's not at all what she "claims." She never denies looking. What she denies is that she was checking for witnesses, which is the conclusion y'all have come to on the matter.
"...although that's what the video shows her doing." What the video shows her doing is turning her head and looking. How do any of us know what she was looking at? Perhaps a horn was blown, perhaps tires squealed, to cause her to turn her head.
How do you know?!
But it is so much more fun (and makes real good press) to make the assumption that she was furtively making sure she would not be seen! What Toogood said of turning her head was, "I saw something that caught my attention."
The woman admitted to beating her child. She has not admitted to the hysterical posturings of many here.

Kevin twists the words of others. He mischaracterizes what has been said. He freely indulges in character assasination using assumption and labeling without basis. He lies without compunction and never admission. His primary and immediate response on most threads when his opinion is challenged is the ad hominem. Unfortunately his attacks lack wit or originality so there isn't even any entertainment value in them. There is no level too low to stoop to to attempt to dominate a thread with his POV.
Kevin, you lack all trace of ethical boundaries, no moral values and no sign of remorse for choosing the lowest road to promote yourself. Words have meaning. Character does count. If this is the character you display here on FR can there be any doubt that you conduct the rest of your life in the same manner? Proclaiming yourself to be above it all and acting in a manner which is beneath contempt speaks volumes. It is the truth of your life. You speak of the highest principles and use the most unprincipled means to make your point.
Don't accuse me of judging you. I have simply described the actions you display which are apparent in your one-trick-pony style of posting. You said this to me:

I am not at all tolerant of evil. Lying is evil. Slander is evil. Disingenuous mischaracterisation of the words of others is evil. I have discerned evil and rebuked it. You will be judged by the One who can judge. I will avoid you.
