Definitely a suicide-blonde, dyed by her own hand.

That story sounds like my mother. My father is a brunette and my mother has black hair and very dark skin. Then comes along my brother and I, flaming redheads. My all my great grandmothers were redheads, but we couldn't explain my tiny dark mother. My great aunt finally confessed that my great great grandmother was an Ojibwe Indian and very dark.

Most of my family is blonde or redheaded except for the few of us that are brunettes - I do have a blonde gene and it tends to run amuk at times - just ask anyone that knows me!

same here. My mother and I have dark skin and dark hair, but my brother has blue eyes and had blonde hair until he was 10 or so.. My sons had blonde hair until they were each about 4 and are as light as can be.....Between the Germans on my dad's side and the Cuban/Panamanian/Dutch on my mother's side,we have quite a mix going...

Me, my wife, and all five of our kids are blonde. I guess we're an endangered species. Does that mean we get some kind of benefits or something?

Until then, ENJOY!

""The only reason blondes would disappear is if having the gene was a disadvantage and I do not think that is the case. " I don't see any disadvantge to a blonde in jeans!
Silly!
They've been sayin' all along that blonde jeans are recessive and will disappear over time. ... Which is the root cause why blondes will never dye out naturally.
It's just a matter of hairedity.

LOL ! This article reminds me of the old blonde hair coloring commercial:
Does she or doesn't she?.....
