Maryland Area Prayer Thread: Pray for Metro area Freepers and Families

It was suggested on another thread by some wonderful freepers who have familiies in the Maryland Metro area, that we start a prayer thread for our freeper families and friends.

Many FReepers live in the DC Metro area or have family there and are concerned because of the sniper on the loose. Please join us in praying for peace and calm for these people as well as for their safety.

I understand your concern! My daughter lives near Manassas. Last night she and her 2 pre-schoolers were at the service station where the shooting occurred only about 45 minutes before the attack. She was already pretty nervous about the situation and now is even more upset.

My heart goes out to you who live in the area.. I just don't understand why things like this have to happen. I know we can't live in bubbles...but we can pray, stay on top of things, and overcome..

I would ask those who read this thread to ping others to it ..... we know what great prayer warriors there are on FR and it is time to enlist them to pray not only for the safety of those in the area but also that the sniper might be caught before others are hurt or killed.
