a middle finger,
a bare butt (mooning),

I like the idea, but the logos referenced above are vulgar, like the bumper stickers: "Don't like my driving? Call 1-800-Eat S**t". Children don't need to be exposed to it.

That being said, there were great t shirts that came out during Desert Shield/Storm, incorporating great logos and wry (black) humor. Try to come up with something along those lines.

Cheers

Dont let Corrin Stormhands bug you. He thinks he has the monopoly on grief over this whole situation. Brush him off.

The range management may not be amenable to having you strip down their rentals. Take advantage of the range rentals to find a firearm that pleases you and that you can shoot well. Renting is an inexpensive way to "try" before you "buy". Once you make the buy decision, have the dealer give you specific instruction in proper field stripping and cleaning regimen. The firearm that is most appropriate for you may not be optimal for everyone else in the household. My wife has trouble with N-frame S&W revolvers. Too big. I have some problem with J-frame S&W revolvers...slightly small for my hands. We can both handle L-frame S&W revolvers. Again, try before you buy.

I know your apprehension. I started collecting guns before I was even married. Our second child is due this week and I bought a 750 pound Liberty safe in which to keep my arms. Incredible peace of mind.

What happens to the money should have nothing to do with the actual value of the shirt.

I agree that they are pretty vulgar. It was just an idea in my head and I thought it would help everyone vent and possibly get a laugh.
P.S. Laugh OUT of this tragedy, NOT AT this tragedy.

Geez...ease up md2576.....I realize you started the thread but who died and made you "posting NAZI"??

Your T-shirt idea is fine as long as the profits (all the profits) go to the victims families.....IMHO, to profit off this national tradegy would be morally wrong and reprehensible....To make a statement of defiance and support the families directly affected would be acceptable.

Now that may be inappropriate. It doesn't show defiance. It shows the inability of the LE to catch this guy.

I understand the sentiment, but it might be considered offensive. A target or crosshairs makes me queasy, but you could probably get away with "We Refuse to Live in Fear"...

You might as well not do it at all if you are going to wuss out like that

He would see this defiant shirt as a challenge and place one dead center.

I'd wear one, with about a half inch of steel breast plate underneath.

That, and have my .308 nearby ready to return fire.

This has unfortunately became the nations news, all the time, for profit.

Most definitely, some proceeds would go to them.

Where would the rest of the proceeds go???

I wasn't. I just saw where that debate was going. No offense.

"Virginia is for Snipers"

I think V.I.F.S. T-shirts are in poor taste, as it corrupts the phrase used by VA to invite people to visit. But, to be honest, I'd be willing to buy a shirt that read

Snipers is for HUNTING!

(Poor grammar intended)

What does everyone else think?

I don't think actual people would be tasteful. I had originally thought of something like "my wife" but then saw how that is in bad taste. I don't want to point the crosshairs at anyone but the sniper.

Are you sure you aren't a Democrat. With twisting and spinning like that you should run for office. Goofy does not mean stupid and cards were to show patriotic love for citizens and empathy not "Sorry halloween is canceled".

It is my mis-fourtune to run into you agian this Am... I can not in good faith let you spin my thread , even if you live in VA. BTW my offer of prayer for you , your children and friends is still in effect. Even though you are bent, you are still a US citizen and I pray for your safety.
