Are Mohammed/Malvo Snipers Gay For Each Other?
Multiple | MB26

Posted on 10/24/2002 2:35:46 PM PDT by MindBender26

Ok; this is a question that has to be asked. Please do not think me a homophobe, but certain possibilities seem to be emerging.

1. These were two males, one a 42 year-old and the other a 17 year-old. Not related, they still traveled a lot together, visited relatives in their homes. etc.

2. Pictures of the two show them with arms around each other.

3. Mohammed has a history of failed relationships with women.

4. Mohammed was discharged from the Army after aprox. ten years of service. His rank at discharge was Sergeant E-5. This rank is a rather poor achievement after 10+ years of service, even for a truck driver. Very few people leave the army after 10 years. After 2,3,or 4, certainly; and of course, after 20. What caused him to leave service at such an unusual point in his career?

Let's not let this post be the beginning of name calling, but this does seem a bit strange.

Any POLITE comments?

Darn. Now you are going to tell me that Robin wasn't really Batman's legal ward?

Calm down Burke. Dick Grayson was indeed Bruce Wayne's legal ward. However, after years of exposure to Gotham City's elite, philanthropic, intellectual crowd, Bruce grew disenchanted with the military-industrial complex, sold all his shares of Wayne Industries and moved to Berkley where he and Dickie became one in a beautiful ceremony.

I think Malvo is his bastard son. They have a pronounced resemblance.

I heard they are from the same home town.

There are tens of thousands of medical, scientific, technical, and other terms which are less than 20 years old. That has no bearing on whether the thing they describe is real or not.

Whether it is "real" or not is a political decision. The term "homophobia" was coined not long after a small committee of the American Psychological Association -- a committee dominated by homosexuals -- took a vote and declared homosexuality "normal." The word "homophobia" was then coined to convey the message that the rest of us are sick.

Yes, pretty much- but you have to replace the elements "rapist" and "terrorist" and the like with Greek or Latin terms.

Black, one an illegal alien and perhaps homosexuals to boot...a reverse trifecta for the libs hoping the sniper to be a white NRA member who voted for Bush. This is not even counting the Nation of Islam angle.

Which part of my explanation didn't you grasp? When someone's fear or loathing of a certain thing or certain type of person causes them to behave irrationally and in a way which is ultimately harmful to themselves, it is called a phobia. There are many kinds of phobias, and homophobia is one of them. Also arachnophobia, agorophobia, claustrophobia, and my personal favorite, hoplophobia -- you know, the folks who run screaming out the room making complete fools of themselves at the sight of gun, because despite a complete lack of evidence, they believe guns are apt to go off unexpectedly, and who refuse to have a gun in their home or carry a gun, no matter how dangerous a neighborhood they live or work in, because they believe, again despite a complete lack of evidence, that it can only be used successfully against themselves and not against an assailant. There are people who behave equally irrationally and self-destructively around gay people; they suffer from homophobia. They are not to be confused with people who simply don't like to be around gay people, or with people whose religious beliefs lead them to view homosexuality as immoral; or with people who believe that the social order conferred by traditional order is of such paramount importance that homosexual relationships must be condemned -- these groups are not apt to impulsively respond to the realization that someone standing next to them is gay, by slugging the person, and getting themselves locked up in prison for assault and battery, where they will likely involuntarily experience that thing which terrifies them the most. Get the difference now?

IF the gay angle turns out to be true - What if its the 17 year old who is the dominant one in the relationship? Getting the 42 year old to do killings in return for "favors".

When applied to someone who disagrees on the point of normality, it is obviously inappropriate. Disagreement does not constitute a phobia of any kind. Many of my boarders disagree with my choice to leave harmless spiders in the house instead of killing or otherwise removing them; but over the 12 years I've been renting rooms to college students, only one has been actually arachnophobic. Poor child was really terrified, and also quite unable to kill or remove the spider herself due to her irrational fear. Her irrational fear rendered her unable to respond constructively to the situation, the way someone who simply didn't like having spiders in the house would have responded.

You didnt answer my questions...

Is someone who kills a drug dealer because he is dealing drugs a “Drugdealerphobe”?
Is someone who kills a child rapist a “Childrapistphobe”?
Is someone who kills a terrorist a “Terorristphobe”?
Is someone who kills a President a “Presidentphobe”?

The term Homophobia is loosely translated as "Fear of Homosexuals".

Please...

That is A-typical Liberal projection.

There is no such mindlock disorder that drives someone to act inappropriately around fruitloops except simple lack of self control.

Making it some sort of full fledged disorder with scientific seals of approval is only meant to legitimize one man sticking his johnson up another man's behind.

Grow up.

Chief Moose has done more to kill Affirmative Action then all of the radio talk show hosts in the US in the last 20 years.

I think what he is referring to here is the Chief's, in my opinion, massive amount of education, articulation and ability to remain calm and erudite. A very impressive man.

I'm not sure about the FBI reference.

By that method, "homophobe" would be one who fears mankind, not what it commonly means.
