WASHINGTON -- Democratic Sen. Paul Wellstone of Minnesota, one of the last unapologetic liberals left in Congress and known among his friends as a ``pied piper of modern politics,'' died Friday in a Minnesota plane crash. He was 58.
Wellstone's wife, Sheila Ison Wellstone, and daughter Marcia also died in the crash. Three campaign staff members and two pilots also perished.

Sorry,I can't even imagine ME having as much sympathy if it had been Trent Lott. Lott is more dangerous to freedom than Wellstone was. He's SUPPOSED to be on OUR side.
Not really. They were Russian Jews,and most likely were rabid supporters of communism until the communists took over and turned on THEM. It would be only natural for them to escape to this country and bring their beliefs with them.
Let's not forget that every time you back a communist into a corner and get them to admit that communism is a failure,they invariably state a version of "yes,but it wasn't done right. If it had been,it would have worked".
