Hats off to the DC chapter and all others involved in this rally. Sorry about the low turn out.

I was worried about the high lib turn out till I saw the ANSWER rally that was just on. i'm glad I didn't turn it off. This whole thing was Libapalooza 2002, they pulled out all the stops. For those who don't know what i'm talking about, two of the guests at the lib rally in DC were Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. That explains it all. They could have mobilized thousands of libs nationwide if they were protesting free money with those two behind it. I should add that Jackson has hardly made any public appearances since his illegitimate child scandal broke. They must be getting desperate.

I should add that unless I missed it, the media is giving the Sharpton/Jackson involvement in this a low key approach by not even mentioning they were there. It's to give the appearance of a grassroots effort and a groundswell of public opinion against the war when it's really just a standard page from the lib playbook. Nice try though libs.

Thanks again for your persistant efforts in the face of leftist intimidation tactics - the DC chapter is a shining example of how to keep cool under fire and better yet, your aim is true. You and the other speakers even turned the disruption attempt to your advantage to make a point about what it really means to be free and to use freedom responsibly. The rest of us can learn a great deal from the DC chapter about controlling a situation constructively instead of letting it dissolve into anger. Outstanding freep.
