Porn on Free Republic

Are any of you getting a pop up add from themensnetwork.com, when on Free Republic. This thing is a homosexual porno piece of trash that pops up full screen when I am reading FreeRepublic. Is there anything that can be done to keep the add from poping up?

I haven't gotten any porn messages, I get a lot of these "messenger" ads/notices that look like official messages or emails. Can I turn this off?

Once in a while when I go to a link, I get a pop up ad, for instance on Drudge, but none have been porno so far.

How many people are going to click on this thread because of the title and be disappointed? Only those who believe em2vn. There are still those with the tin foil hats who think we really ARE getting the porn, but claiming we don't and hiding it from them..

Look in your computer (add/remove programs if using windows) for a program called "Gator" or "Gatorsoft" and get rid of it if you are getting popups here. Then do a search through your hard drive for other things related to Gator that didn't get removed the first time.
Just a hunch. You downloaded it along with something else... it snuck in along with the fine print.
