While I wouldn't go as far as saying their relationship is incestuous, I'd say it is strange.

Karenna is constantly trying to Alpha-male sexualize him (for the voters of course).

The point is that his daughter's near obsessive involvement in her father's sexuality and virility are very public.

This is the first I've heard of it. Even so, if that's what her role is in his campaign, then that's what she does. It shouldn't mean anything else.

The problem is that these people are trying to manipulate us for their own personal gain. They think we're idiots. I, for one, don't like being manipulated and will heap as much scorn as I can muster on any one who tries. I didn't respond much to the Irish girl on the other thread because she still enjoys putting her head in daddy's lap too, and I didn't want to make it personal with her. Plus, a candid caring moment with a random family is not nearly as creepy as a staged olders daughter's head in daddy's lap to make him seem "warm and loving." And there was already an entire thread here devoted to the photo with a disruptive troll to toy with...unless maybe you're involved in a similar borderline situation and are just taking it too personally. Maybe I should be more sensitive if that's the case. Just remember to be careful since 90% of the culture will think you're a weirdo.

The "loving family man" issue has never been a problem, or the focus of his daughter's image-making though. It's just a convenient excuse here to get the real propaganda through. The big kiss with Tipper for instance, and the cover of Rolling Stone wasn't to make him seem loving, it was to make him seem lovely to women. Those atttempts both backfired too. His daughter is desperate to create an Alpha Male image for him where the ladies her age swoon and faint. She thinks if just we could see how he's as sexy as Bill Clinton, we would all vote for him -- but she can't actually use models draped on his lap and and kissing him. Here the family is simply being used as willing stand-ins. Tipper is practically anonymous in this photo, and many don't know his younger daughter.

Being "sexy" is all a part of the whole package to try and convince people he is a actual human,instead of a puppet or a robot. "Black Fundie Preacher Goober" is my personal favorite. Sooner or later he will travel out to San Francisco though,and when he does,I suspect "Bath House Al" will be my new favorite. As good as he is at the preacher role, I suspect he would be a natural as "Bath House Al".
