...Ted Kennedy as the only man to drive across a bridge while stoned! That was about Gen. Swartzkof's(sp) comentary of the gun camera footage of the moving car an the bridge that was under attack, "The luckiest man in Iraq." Rush's follow up was "LIke Ted Kennedy, he knows what it like to drive over a bridge while bombed."

LOL!
On the serious side, I see Edwards emerging as the party hopefull. I just cannot figure who might be the VP. (Hill or Gephart)

I don't know. They seem to have a knack for rerunning failures lately. It's kinda like taking something out of the refrigerator and smelling it and discovering it's bad and putting it back in the refrigerator, as if it is going to better next time. Only they do it with candidates.

ROTFL!

I haven't watched for CNBC for so long it took me 10 minutes to find it again!
You have been missing a great show, check out Wall Street Opinion Journal. It is on Friday nights at 9:00. Paul Gigot is so handsome.I like "Kudlow and Cramer" weekdays at 7:00PM Central Time, but since we recently got the Fox News Channel, I just never seem to switch to any other channel!

"They don't understand that Rush's power comes from the fact that he speaks for what so many Americans already believe."I discovered that I was a conservative by listening to Rush....

It's almost 10:00 here on the West Coast. Is this the same program that was on B-4? (Sounds like it is)

"I can't believe TIm is actually letting him speak"Au contraire.
Rush and Russert have always gotten on well. There is definitely mutual respect there. I have seen them together on-air a fair number of times, and it's clear that each has respect for the other's abilities, mind, and integrity.
Russert is as good as it gets on lamestream TV. I often disagree with him.........but I still find him to be a class act.

It is, and I'm watching. Great stuff. Russert seems spellbound. Like he's learning from a Master. Almost like the R.C.A. dog of old. (for those who can remember)

I am not sure who coined the phrase:
"Politics ain't bean bag." But it is a very acurate description.
Rush was told by Russert once that the Clinton white house spent hours in strategy--trying to thwart Rush's radio program. Limbaugh appeared legitimately stunned.
Rush (now in his 50's) is now moving more and more mainstream. He never will totally cross that line, but he is now more dangerous to Democrats than he ever was before.

Is your reaction of Russert's reaction like mine?

They have the Wall Street Journal editorial board on Friday evenings. It's such a bad time, though.

The joy in me, though, was re-kindled when I saw a post here on FR that detailed the massive volume of calls Norm Coleman's office was getting while the "funeral" was going on.Which gives the lie to the new Dem spin: "There was nothing wrong with the memorial service, the news casts the next morning didn't report anything unusual --the Republicans and the talk show hosts are who got the people riled up about it later".
