REVIEW OF GORE'S BOOK AT AMAZON.COM
Posted on 11/27/2002 12:52:09 PM PST by 7thson
I was just over at Amazon.com, taking a look at the reviews for Al Gore's book that is not selling. Someone admit it now - who from FR was over there plugging in the reviews. They were hillarious. Some of the stuff seemed like it was written by Freepers.

Who wrote Al and Tipper's books?

I have not really seen any of the footage, if there is any, of Alwhore talking about his book. From what I have gathered, he is using all of the time, that he should be using to talk about the book, to bash Bush. Is this true?
To: 7thson
I tried to see what you were talking about, but all I could find were Buchanan reviews.

pls remind me of who that character is again??
also how about a link to the book on the Amazon web site would be very helpful, I have pleasant thought of some reviews we did on Hitley's book about her pillaging the White House :-)

Went to look at the book, and in the "Customer's Advice" section, there appears the following:
* 1 person recommended Mein Kampf in addition to The Spirit of Family
* 2 people recommended At Any Cost : How Al Gore Tried to Steal the Election instead of The Spirit of Family
Whoever you are, shame on you! ROTFLMBFAO

You mean "The Formerly Important Al Gore"
I love calling him that. Dubbed by William E. Saracino of the California Political Review
To: 7thson
Do you mean the reviews of Locked at the Lips?
To: 7thson
Are you referring to
THIS or
THIS?
No, I think those reviews were pretty neutral. One fellow did recommend Mein Kampf instead of the subject volumes, and another I Married A Communist, but I'm sure that was only for historical perspective.
On an entirely unrelated note, did you know that anyone can vote in "is this review helpful to you?" You did?

Algore's book is bonafide.

last night Jim Cramer commented on Gore's book. Said he's been out on his book tour and all of the publishers are totally despondent about Gore's book. Seems it even tends to destroy book sales within a row or two proximity of it and publishers are pressing the bookstores not to put Gore's book near their books and getting really mad when they don't and then Gore's book drags theirs' down.

LOL! The "Halo effect"...

Somebody recommended "Managing your D*** - redirect your sexual energy and discover your more spiritually enlightened, evolved self". I recommended Thomas Sowell's "Vision of the Annointed - Self Congratulations as a Basis for Social Policy". It seemed appropriate.
