...wondering how they will make the rent payment and cover child-care costs.
Whoops! More than you meant to say, wasn't it Jeffords?

Now Jumpin' Jeffords has chimed in to lie about what's happening in the country. Maybe this drumbeat of criticism - everyday for the past week, someone new everyday - is the opening round of the presidential race in 2004?

"If the Republicans read the recent election results as a rejection of moderation and a mandate to steamroll opposition from within the party, they will be making a grave mistake. " Jeffords is a liberal. And he still does not get it. He is a Daschle clone. He thinks the republicans read on the midterms is rejection of moderation! Sorry jumping Jim! On the contraire. The republicans read it for what it was. Clear rejection of the failed agenda of the democratic party. Clear rejection of the party of lies and deception. Clear rejection of the party of personal destruction. And clear rejection of those party leaders that took them down a path of self destruction. And still you cry, whine, moan and complain. America said "NO" to Daschle, Gephardt, Clintoon, Jeffords and all the other socialists who have no agenda for America and no idea how to protect us. Get over it!

The lack of funding for our schools is disgraceful. No Mr. Turncoat you're disgraceful! You would pour our money into endless sink holes that do not work and have not worked properly for 20 years. You probably would not let parents have a CHOICE where they send there children for a quality education you just want to TAKE our money and SPEND it as YOU see fit just like a liberal elitist that thinks he knows better!
I still see you don't have a clue why your counterparty got bitchslapped in this last election...
Get a clue and go away!!!
WTH am I doing up so early! I am so cranky at this hour in the morning!

If Dems are so concerned about the income woes of the middle class, let them vote to roll back federal income tax by 50%. That would instantly give everyone a pay raise. We NEVER hear that government can get by on less!

This guy just can't cease proving himself an ass.

.....more than two million private sector jobs have been lost, while our economic growth is the weakest it has been in 50 years. Does he mean GDP? If he does, that actually has kept pace quite nicely. If he doesn't, what does he mean by economic growth? And more importantly, what are his remedies?
It's no suprise the NY Times printed this article. It did not advocate an alternative, it was simply a hit piece on GWB. Contrast this with op-ed pieces from the "unbiased" ecomomists (ex. Krugman) who regurgitated DNC talking points during the Clinton years and you see yet again another example of liberal bias at the NYT.

Hey Jim "Jumpin' Judas" Jeffords, stuff a sock in it. No one outside the New York Times cares about what you have to say. You're a liberal but don't have the guts to say that's who you are. You don't even have the courage to join the Democratic Party despite having common ground with them. The truth is you're a political whore who'll sell yourself at the right price to the right bidder. And last I checked there's no "Book Of Great Moderates In World History" on the library shelves. Good riddance.

If Dems are so concerned about the income woes of the middle class, let them vote to roll back federal income tax by 50%.Oh sure, when we can all ice skate in Hades this will be a reality! The Dems could never ever give up the money they have worked so hard to confiscate! Eventhough your point is truly magnificiant and reaches the depths of my heart I'd just as well soon see a big black bear walk into my house, grab the editoral page of the paper, and sit on MY throne to do it's business.
very intamate moniker you have there!

Whenever I see the phrase ".....worst (fill in blank) in 50 years" I immediately disregard it, the person who said it, and everything else that person will ever say.

We should be addressing that homeland security issue. Think how much earlier this would have happened,
if Benedict Jeffords had dropped off the map.

"We should be addressing that homeland security issue."
If Jeffords and his Dem partners truly believed that, they would have done something about it prior to the elections. After they got their butts kicked, suddenly it's a priority.
Disgusting!

Our slumping economy, our threatened environment, our underfunded schools, our corporate scandals these are not issues that you will hear discussed by the White House, but they are being talked about by people who don't have the power to define the nation's agenda. He's a moderate, my A$$!
