I'm talking about dramatic racial intermarriages, not between say, a German and a Czech. I mean a Negro and a Korean, or even a White and an Indian.

Are you talking about Indians from India or Native Americans? How about a Japanese person and an Okinawan? What about a Filipino and a Chinese person? How about a Thai person and a Pakistani? An Egyptian and a South African? What criterion gets used to determine which racial intermarriages are "dramatic" enough to not take place? Is it anything beyond the color of one's skin?

Marry whom you will, but not in the name of Christ. Man continually tries to bring together that which God has separated, and man continually tries to separate what God hath joined together.

Well there are already millions of children alive now that have resulted from couples of mixed race. Who should they be allowed to procreate with? What would you have them do so that they can act "in the name of Christ?"

There is something obviously destructive in interracial marriage.

There's obviously something destructive in people who criticize a marriage knowing nothing more about it than that the participants are from different races.

Problems in any national culture start with uncontrolled immigration. In the case of white America, it was actually the mass Negro imports that comprised the first such immigration. That led finally to forced integration, and integration results in intermarriage.

Racists call it "Forced Integration". Honest people call it "Ending Government Sponsored Segregation".

I have yet to hear about even a single human being who has not been able to survive solely because they were of mixed race. I have never even heard this theory before. In fact, a recent genetic study showed that race is basically a non-issue when it comes to genetic history.

I'd like to see a source for this please. I would also point out that all humans are of the same species.

The good lord showed every living human on this earth with the almost infallible order of nature that the sparrows and the robins do not share the same nest to return in the spring a faxsimile of the previous year,However if love overpowers the genetic responsibility then so be it.

I don't understand this. Sparrows and robins cannot interbreed. All humans can. Are you trying to draw a parallel here?

Skin color is a simple adaptation to latitude. But a lot of folks have the need to brand someone with an indelible stamp that marks a group of people as permanently inferior in their eyes. Go to a black baptist church in the poorest part of any urban center and try to conjure any article of business clothing you as a fairly prosperous professional that costs ONE HALF the cost of the getup the Preacher, Deacon and Church leaders are sporting. $800 Cole Hahn and Gucci shoes, $2000 Armani tailored suits, $150 silk ties with their $75 matching silk hankies, $150 dress shirts and Oh, those $750 topcoats.

That is a far-reaching, bull$*t stereotype and it undermines any points you may have had.

Thre aren't any. Culture is not genetic. Skin color can be genetic, but is not intrinsically linked to race genetically. See the link in post 91 that Johnny Shear thoughtfully provided.

There is no superior race or specially gifted humans. We do however have the god given right to associate with whom we wish that fits into each particular races culture.

I couldn't agree more. Nobody here is saying that people shouldn't be allowed to marry people with the same race as them. Some of us are disputing the original author's contention that marrying someone of another race is wrong and non-Christian.

A worthwhile post--not just because it puts Strom Thurmond into the perspective, which fairly addresses his issues in 1948--but because it sets forth concepts which are very basic to the very concept of a Nation. The writer is absolutely correct as to that, and fully in accord with the traditional treatises on the Law of Nations.

This post is really very relevant, today, to the present debate on immigration. We need to decide whether or not we wish to maintain our identity among the peoples of the earth or be submerged into an undifferentiated humanity, governed by a Socialist World Government. Much of what has been drummed into American College students in recent decades--the raw ingredient that leads to Pavlovian responses, such as that which greeted Trent Lott's flight of nostalgia--has come from theorists whose real aim has never been the legitimate interests of any minority, but rather breaking down all the patterns of normal human identification, so that we may be submerged into a World Government.
