Mel Gibson Puts Career On the Line for the Gospel
Fox News

I was just watching O'Reilly interviewing Mel Gibson who is doing a very graphic movie making a very strong statement about the death of Christ. It was evident to me in the interview that Mel is committed to getting the Christian message out although he apparently is quite aware that there are those in America (of course) who are busy now behind the scenes trying to generate a scandal, even going so far as to try and intimidate his elderly father into making incriminating statements. Normally I could care less about what the morons in Hollywood are doing, but this was such a refreshing change from the usual liberal weirdness and perversity that I just had to start a thread.

And Above all Gibson understands forgiveness, and how it relates to actions against his Family He has already forgiven this "reporter" but the "reporter" had better watch out,....
And Gibson always does that thing with his eyes like he's daring you to mess with him.

Mel Gibson ... The Patriot .... Signs .... We Were Soldiers Once ... Hamlet (which bombed) ... Lethal Weapons series plus others. I have a lot of respect for that man. Wish I could say that about even 10% of the rest of hollywood.

How should I know. Doesn't sound like a movie that would appeal to me.

What does Mel say about the second amendment?

"What does Mel say about the second amendment?" Couldn't tell you, but I have no doubt that there's a FReeper with the answer. Just give it time. :-)

His movie "The Patriot" was under fire when it came out because it depicted Mel's character's children shooting guns at British soldiers. I don't remember if Mel said anything about it, but I remember a lot of conservative commentators "firing back," so to say, at the leftist critics.

Bump for a miraculous story.
Watch the repeat at around 8:15 p.m. PST.
Gibson is a true hero who's risking his own money and career for a story that's never been told on screen before.
From the interview, it sounds like he's putting his safety on the line, too.
"Spooky."

LOL That didn't take very long. ;-)

Damn! Missed it!
Thanks for the heads up, I'll catch it on the rerun at 11 PM.
I was watching the archeological and forensic NOVA program on PBS about searching for remains of crashed American Serviceman on the Kamchatka Pennisula from WWII. Very interesting.........after crashing they may have been eaten by bears.

This is awesome. Bravo for Mel Gibson :) Anybody know anything else about this movie? When is it coming out, the name of it? I heard it is being filmed in latin and aramaic. Wow...
