I didn't pay much attention to politics for a long time (too hot-headed) but my husband helped to change that also. I can still be hot-headed when it comes to politics, but I VOTE! So, I pay a lot more attention.

I didn't see this. Do you mean Ms. Witch Clinton? She did the same kinda stuff when President Bush addressed Congress after the 9/11. No, not really. You get taxed at the lower levels first over the course of the year, even ignoring deductions, etc.
