I sent a personalized e-mail to both of my senators and urge you to do likewise. (Feinstein example shown below):
Dear Senator Feinstein:
A judicial nominee of the caliber of Miguel Estrada must receive consideration by the entire Senate.
It is your duty, Ms. Feinstein, to your substantial Hispanic constituency throughout California to speak out against this unwarranted and -- dare I say -- racially biased attempt by certain Democrat senators to prevent our Mr. Estrada from being voted on by the whole Senate.
I appreciate and expect your immediate attention to influence your fellow senators to stop the filibuster.

Sen. Frist did speak this afternoon, but Sen. Hatch is the head of the judiciary committee and heads the hearings.
Sen. Frist today: "Miguel Estrada's nomination has been pending for 18 months. That's too long. The Senate should act to confirm him - this week."
"To deny Miguel Estrada a confirmation vote is to deny the American Dream."

I hope Robert Byrd (D-KKK) speaks. It will probably give him warm feelings how he and Al Gore Sr. filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Byrd likes to filibuster minorities such as Estrada and then try to lure them to a tree while carrying a rope.

Here's your link to the Senators, everybody: http://www.senate.gov
Find Frist and whatever GOP Senator you have and tell them they must enforce the Senate rules to bring about a vote or filibuster!
Oh, hush up and do it.

And include your name and full mailing address, or they likely won't pay attention.

Just what kind of cable system do you have there?

Unelected Ralph Neas, a far-left party activist is the mouth of the Democratic Party in the Senate...a liar
He slithers out of his hole everytime a decent nominee comes up. It just shows the dims care more for a voting bloc then principle. This should be pointed out in the press,(ha)but we all know better don't we?

Sen. Hatch is too good for the current crop of corrupted Dems. He's fighting hard for his nominees, but his opponents are cheaters and liars. Orrin should bring in Ann Coulter to assist. (^:
More of today's Orrin quotes:
"We've hardly had a better nominee in my 27 years on the judiciary committee."
"We see a different standard being applied here today."
"He answered every question they asked."
"They controlled the hearing."
"We've had some people say that he's not hispanic enough."
"Why is it that he's not being given the opportunity so far that any good person should have."
"He's a hispanic-Republican who might be a conservative."
"All 7 of the current living former Solicitor Generals said that this should not be done...four of them Democrats." "Awful precident that has never been asked for before."
"We're at a point where we may be facing the first true filibuster in the history of the United States of a lesser court nominee."
"Never before has a circuit court nominee or any district court nominee been filibustered. We're talking about Federal judges."

It just shows the dims care more for a voting bloc then principle. Sen. Hatch told the listening audience about PFAW, today - who's on the board - a Hollywood actor, a record producer, a former Clinton employee - and exposed their lies and purpose as a big far-left moneyraising activist group. That was fun. (^:
Hugh Hewitt's saying, "Make them pay. Go to NRSC.org." "Get your money in right now."

The GOP has set the deomcrats up. They knew they would do this , to a hispanic conservative. This is for the latin american vote. Democrats on display trying to stop a hispanic from becoming a judge.

I pray our faith will endure and stay strong during these trying times. God bless and protect America!
I pray also.
Estrada will be confirmed. The democrats will lose this fight. Estrada has to much talent, not to gain the nomination, and the democrats know it.

Corzine just became honest. The reason not to support Estrada = he's "a forty-three year old" nominee.

If this is a filibuster, why is a Republican (Allred) speaking? Let's make them stand up there forever and read the freakin' phone book!

I am sickened that this wonderful and brilliant man, who would be a fine and trustworthy judge, being talked about this way on the floor of the Senate.
I simply do not understand what is going through the Democrats' heads.
How can they possibly find fault with him? He has the highest recommendation a judge could be given. Something is so very wrong here, and it makes me fear for our country!
