NASHVILLE TENNESSEE: 2 PRO AMERICA RALLIES IN NASHVILLE "Bash A Puegeot For Peace"
Dear FOP:
We wanted to make sure you knew about Phil's Pro-America Rally being held this Friday, February 28th, at Centennial Park in Nashville. Phil will broadcast his show live from the stage from 3-6PM. That will be followed by a rally beginning at 6PM. We've heard from the bash-America crowd. Now it's time to hear from the patriots who may have disagreements with their government from time to time but understand the need for unity in a time of crisis. Stay tuned to Phil's show for updates.
Please help spread the word and make plans to bring your family and join us for this very special event. Thanks,
The Phil Valentine Show
Stand Up For America Rally that is taking place Friday at the Beaman Auto Pre-Owned Vehicle SuperCenter from 11-1. We will also feature "Bash A Puegeot For Peace" where people can bash a Puegeot with donations going to Project Unlimited Support, which helps our troops and their families with financial and morale assistance. Friday, February 28, 11-1 at the corner of Broadway and Demonbreun. Bring your PRO-AMERICA Protest signs, American flags, and friends to show that it is time to STAND UP FOR AMERICA.

If you decide to whack the car give it one for me. I can't make it. Memphis is to far away with the weather and all.

I wish we could make it up there in time to whack that car but we won't be able to make it til later. Poo!
I'm thrilled we can make it for the later rally at Centennial Park at least. This will be the first rally we've been able to go to and I'm really pumped! I'm making our signs now.

I went to the Nashville rally (the evening one). I live in the Memphis area and my dad and I drove 2.5 hours to get there. I had "Honk if you support our troops" in that chalk marker on my back window and I must say...there were lots of military supporters on I-40! Especially after the rally when we drove through Clarksville (Ft. Campbell) to head to Paris,TN where my Grandmother lives.
We got there about 5pm and so we were pretty close to the stage. There were a ton of people there. I can't even guess how many but the whole park area was pretty full. When we left...it was dark...so I have no idea. 1000 or more? I hope someone can tell me.
A colonel with the Tennessee Guard spoke and he was really cool...but tough! He commanded respect and he made it clear that it wasn't the reporter, campus organizer, or Hollywood actor that gave Americans their freedoms!
Mark Slaughter sang a song.
Two Kurds spoke...I was very moved by their comments. One of them personally lost 19 members of his family. They were lined up and executed by Saddam Hussein's army. He also described how the Turks put them in jails (oops! I mean refugee camps) and placed 40 men in a two room house and then injected cyanide into their bread to try to kill them.
We heard from Fred Thompson via telephone.
Darryl Worley sang a song..."Have You Forgotten?" and oh man! That song is awesome. I hadn't heard it before and I'm on a mission to get a copy of it!
There were 3-4 TV crews there but we didn't beat anyone up, trash the place, or strip naked...so I doubt there will be much coverage...although I did make it a point to thank one of the TV crews for coming out to the rally. They were really nice and said..."It's our pleasure."
It was an absolute blast! I loved it and I want one here in Memphis.

Oops! I just wanted to add that I checked Glenn Beck's website and they estimate that there were 3000 in attendance at Nashville!
Well...I DID say it was kinda dark! (sheepishly)
To: DanielleLH
what a great recap of the event, your daddy and grandmother must really be proud of you, and no doubt you have a talent for reporting, thanks...rto
