"You'd think France and Germany would remember...."

Hell, the French forget what Waterloo was after 20 minutes and the germans still haven't figured out that 1000 B-17's means no more city property with resale value. The new generation is more clueless than the old.

"Me too, like snubbing the idiot Helen Thomas the other day...nothing really to gain...but gutsy."

Wasn't that just like poetic. God, he's back on a roll. Keep it up W!!!!!!

Well, we're going alphabetically so...Afghanistan, Iraq, Korea, Lybia, Syria, Venezuela then Zimbabwe.

If Bush wanted to humiliate the French, he'd break their imperial pretentions in Africa; that means, taking out Mugabe, who is obviously a friend of Chirac now, and helping our Christian bretheren in Cote d'Ivore. After all, they asked for help against Chirac from Bush. ;)

What are the Brits saying about France and Germany, not the media, but your friends and associates?

I'm thrilled with this action. I wish it had happened sooner, but with Mugabe's recent, well-publicized trip to France, it's also a slap in the direction of Chirac. Remember, Clinton didn't so much as lift a finger in the direction of Rwanda in the 90's. At least Bush shows he's aware of the plight of Africa, both from this action and his commitment of millions of $$ to help with the AIDS crisis there.

Quite frankly, the average bloke never really cared for the French and the Germans. Reminders of the Germans are still all around us - for example, I had to go to the London Bridge area today. Right outside the station is "The Battle of Britain Experience", in which you can, for a modest fee, go into an old Underground station and experience what it was like to have Dorniers dropping bombs on the city above you.

As for the French - they've been the butt of our jokes for a very long time. Everyone knows they're treacherous and unreliable.

Regards, Ivan

Mr. Ivan, you have my profound respect. How your nation does not call for destroying the "Chunnel" is way beyond me. It's sort of like why we don't fill the Rio Grande with burning oil.

Fool! I've got several hundred Nigerians who want to transfer--each of them, mind you--about fifty million dollars ($50,000,000) into my bank account! The wonders of email!

LOL, I was wondring when someone would mention Nigeria. I guess we are no longer allowed to help Nigerians get money of of there.

Absolutely! Chavez must be taken down. We ought to finish off his buddy Fidel at the same time. Venezuala is our #1 oil source. The people hate Chavez but he has his goon squad to crack heads. Hiding in the background and cheering Chavez on is our old nemesis Fidel. Castro would love to inflict some damage on the US before he heads off for eternity. These clowns need to go in the same category as Saddam & Kim Jung Il.

Mugabe should be killed. And I have no problem with us being the ones that do it.

Let's hope there is a plan for this.

Chris Dodd is responsible.
