There is no reason to ever vote for anyone in this "Two-Party Cartel". However this oligarchy won't allow competition. We get leftover Bushes, Klintoons, Doles, etc. to run this country. Meanwhile this nation is hemorrhaging in debt & excess spending & since this "cartel" has sent all of our jobs elsewhere & we probably have 10% unemployed. All brought to you by the Bushes, Klintoons, etc.
Welcome to your New World Order.
No they won't. And if they did, the Dems will do what I am suggesting the GOP should do now, which is declare that the filibuster rule is void with respect to judicial nominations.
They won't, because the media will excoriate them, much unlike what's happening now. The media is the Dems ultimate weapon to win such showdowns; it's what they so used to take the '95 budget standoff and whip the freshman class of '94 into submission and forestall the conservo revolution.
Gotta enjoy Hentoff, though. What a liberal pariah.
You jest of course. There is no chance that Frist will be as spineless as Lott. It just couldn't happen. Life could never be that unfair.
