One would hope. However, my experience with trade shows is that we usually spend more than we receive. They're fine when you are trying to get known, but later on the orders will come to you anyway. My guess is that anyone who is *UPTIGHT* enough to worry about the names of *FRENCH FRIES* and FRENCH TOAST* doesn't do a lot of *FRENCH KISSING* anyway.
Maybe next they can convince *CONDI RICE* to change her name to *CONDI BIG MAC* to show their *DISPLEASURE* with *CHINA*.
I saw Congressman Paxton flesh out his remarks last night. He fully agrees that no one can keep American companies from attending this show. However, the government (taxpayers) does not have to subsidize them.
Most of these companies borrow, or lease back, equipment and planes from the US Government to demonstrate. They also "borrow" pilots and crew from the armed services for the event at great expense to the taxpayer and risk to the pilots' lives. The US Government does not have to participate.
