WASHINGTON - Democratic lawmakers and aides said yesterday there is growing interest in tapping Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton as the Senate Democratic leader if Sen. Tom Daschle retires next year.

Sources said elevating Clinton - in the Senate for only 21/2 years - would be the best way to raise the party's profile in the face of a popular president and at a time when both houses of Congress are ruled by Republicans.

Rumor is that she and Tommy compared "packages" in the senate men's room -- and Hillary won.

it certainly would give her the exposure that she needs to gain the presidency.

and there are many women out there that would get horny just looking at her.

Because Teddy Kennedy and others like him are smarter than Shrillary.

I have to admit that Kennedy is not quite as stupid as I had thought. He's no genius, of course, but he has had an effect on legislation that has passed or will soon pass since Dubya has been President. Legislatively, the republicans got a lot through during the Clinton years; sadly, it appears that Ted is having some success as well.

We sure do need a filibuster-proof Congress. The Dims would be silenced and I love the idea of Hitlery in left field........a mere shadow of her former self.

A filibuster proof senate and having $inator Hildebea$t on some DC street corner with the shrew, Pello$i shrieking each day about evil GW would be a great 4 years.

She cannot allow any to challenge her ascendancy. Better for the Clintons to lose the election badly, if it leaves Hillary! in control...GWB understands. Never lift your boot off the neck of a snake.

Sir...We understand your point. Please leave snakes out of this, they (the snakes) have enough to deal with, now you dump Shrillary and Bubba on them... :|

Actually, I'm more worried about VICE President Rodham-Clinton. Think of it: • She keeps he promise not to run for president in '04 • Two years and one day into her term the first slotter gets arkincided • Under Article XXII, she can still run for two full terms as the incumbent • The Hillary!™ Decade begins • At the end of the Hillary!™ Decade there is a National Emergency "temporarily" delaying the elections • Under the pressure of the National Emergency, the 2nd and 22nd amendments are repealed...

...Chills...in the not-to-distance future w/ what the USSC has said in the last two weeks..."U.S. Constitution is Bathroom Tissue, has no real social value - death to the rule of law, long live the Clintons and their Ilk" :(

Yeah....a fistful of dollars....in the hands of that "High Plains Drifter".....could work.

At least we would have a minority leader with a lower estrogen level than Daschle.
