after all the Clinton's have done the last 8 years you seriously think backing out of her promise to be a Senator for 6 years will really matter to people???

People either love her or hate her, not a lot of middle ground on her. I don't see the promise as a big deal, especially to one who is a loose with the truth as Hillary!

But, but, but, after her book tour (like her listening tour) the outpouring of support, begging her to become our president, was so overwhelming that it relieves her of fulfilling her promise to New York State.
Just like her husband, who promised to complete his term as governor. After visiting several places in Arkansas,"listening to the people," he realized that the Arkansans thought it more important that he represent them as president.

NO WAY does she wait til 2008. Do you really think people would elect some old hag to be Commander in Chief? I think not. She needs to do this now while the idiots in this country are still enamored of the Clintons. Their star will have faded by "08.

There is one issue still at stake. Hillary Runs for President and her College Thesis Becomes Public News. Now with that happening even the dumbest democrats should realize she is a true Communist, based on her College Thesis in which she wrote about Saul Alinsky, and how she admired Him. Thanks

But if this should come true, if she should collect the votes, it will be true that the country has left me.

Yikes. The very same language a lot of Episcopalians have been using over the past quarter-century as they leave that church.

And just as I came to realize 20 years ago, this is not the church I grew up in, well, this is not the country I grew up in, either.

"Hillary Runs for President and her College Thesis Becomes Public News."

I'm not sure how you figure that. Clinton's college grades and his scores as a Rhodes scholar were both sealed (probably permanently). As well, all of his physicals and other medical info. Since many of the people in the media, not to mention all of her buddies who went to Wellsley, have places of prominence and authority in this country now, what gets out in the public record is only what she wants out.

Hillary would rather take a clean shot in '08, but if her people begin to think Dean might have a chance of winning, she will jump in.
The same thing happened in '68. Bobby Kennedy was gonna wait till '72, but when Eugene McCarthy began to look like a winner he knew he had to jump in or be shut out forever.
Plus, she and Slick jumped in in '92 and the big names like Mario Cuomo waited too long and lost out.

Man this is going to be so much fun!

I don't think so. I think it's likely to be the nastiest, ugliest campaign we've ever seen (disclaimer: I know little about campaigns pre-1964), with the press behaving worse than they did with Goldwater. And the rallying cry to whip the Left into a frenzy will be "Undo 2000" or something to that effect.

Why does she want back in the Whitehouse?

Is there a favorite piece of furniture she forgot to steal last time?

Dean has claimed the beast personally told him that she would not run. If she jumps in now, don't expect Dean to go quietly, especially now that he is the front-runner. These two will battle like Godzilla and Mothra for months.

" NO WAY does she wait til 2008. "

Absolutely right . She ran for the Senate so she could subsequently run for the Senate . Her book tour is fresh in people's minds . Bush is vulnerable . The media is in her corner . Even if she lost this time in a close election , she could run again in 2008 ! She is in , mark my words .

I agree. I'm seriously considering selling my television--I doubt I'll have the stomach for it.

Wow! Look at those choppers! I never noticed before, she has a major underbite. It makes her look like a backhoe. So to speak.

Pinging backhoe...you may want to jump in on this slander...heh heh heh.

As I recall Bill O'Reilly got a copy of the thesis and discussed it on air. Not sure that it was as horrifying as it could have been.
