My point is that they do stuff like this to be controversial. In order for it to be controversial and create a lot of buzz is for people to protest it. Then they can play the role of the victim, saying that their free speech and artistic rights are being trampled.
So everyone should just roll their eyes, avoid the show, and not let it bother them. That way people will see it for what it is -- shock jocks pretending to be artists. It won't maintain good ratings, it will eventually get canceled, and the producers and network executives will realize that the public-at-large rejects that kind of entertainment.

Prayers from TX.
Prayers for your mother-in-law and family.
Well beside the fact that NBC has been advertising the 'final episodes' as this show will be going off the air at the end of the season. Of course once it does, I imagine 'conservatives' will claim they had somethng to do with that as well. I've watched the show a few times and I just don't like it. But I'm not going to bother writing a network about a show that already is planning to go off the air.
You've hit the nail on the head. It's a TV show and there are more important things in life. Will be in prayer for you and yours.
Prayers for comfort, peace and complete healing for your mother in law.
I don't watch the show to begin with and certainly would not tune in to see the tramp spears.
I join in prayer for her mother and her and you and all the loved ones!
Your Mother in Law, and your family, is in my prayers this evening.
Of course not, nor will they ridicule homosexuals and lesbians - so turning off the channel is not the answer... as Mao Tse-Tung stated: Passivity is fatal to us. Our goal is to make the enemy passive, and it is this sheeplike passivity that has got us in a sad state of affairs, culturally speaking, starting with our education systems. So I will complain as much as I can.
P.S. Prayers for your MIL and family, Dave.
The only show I watch on the network is Apprentice, but even that is getting old.
Will and Grace is a piece of crap and probably should have been protested long, long ago. I say this as someone who is fond of many of the comedies on television. Though it is high enough in ratings to have remained on the air for eight years, it has almost NEVER received any awards, something the cast themselves have complained about.
