What, me worry? If you just sing Kumbaya daily, you should be OK.
Or maybe not.
I haven't noticed you as being particularly "temperate".
BC LIKES temperate!

According to Calvinist theology, many heathens and heretics are future denizens of the Kingdom of God, having been chosen from the beginning of time (but just not having been called yet). So the heathen or heretic you shun today may in fact be one of the elect. Nice going.

Dr. Kopp, you've done a beautiful job putting together this thread. Reminds me of Imitation of Christ. Which brings me to suffering. The hair shirt is mentioned in your post, and I wonder how the content of comments would change if everyone was wearing one when they typed.:) Thanks again, Dr. Kopp. I, for one, enjoy your charitable Catholic commentary on Free Republic. In fact, you're one of the reasons I "tune in."

GREAT POINTS AS USUAL.
However, given that this is my first batch of french fries with my dentures . . . I may need to be extra cautious about coming across annoyed or irritable. LOL.

To: Flightdeck
based on how many posts meant for me have been deleted I've noticed a tendency for Roman Catholic apologists to make similar blanket and unfounded statements speculating that posts to them have been deleted.
It's my experience that it is Roman Catholics who are banished from threads and who write the majority of posts which are most often deleted since Roman Catholics continue to "make it personal."

imho Patriots engaging in too much unfitting KUMBYA when they should have been uhhhh dispatching traitors, contributed a lot to get us into this mess in the first place. Civil and polite is one thing. Wishy washy about crucial values and truths is something else. imho.

Some people assume or claim the MESSENGER is offensive, when it is the MESSAGE that offends people.
Now, are you claiming *I* am offensive? Do tell.
And, no not everyone who CLAIMS to be ‘preaching the gosepel’ does so, some (like Mormons) preach ANOTHER (false) Gosepel and as I Christian I find that offensive.

One thing I was taught in Bible college was that if the Bible is not CLEAR on a doctrine then it is PROBABLY not a doctrine that affects Salvation but rather a matter of conscience that should not divide the body of Christ. Is that some of that "wisdom of man" that has been rebuked on this thread? And, if you would, please define CLEAR.
