Please Pray for Fragile Boy Undergoing Major Surgery Today

My friend's foster son is having major spinal surgery today.
He is medically fragile, and has multiple disabilities. This makes the surgery more difficult, but, it has to be done.
The shortest description is that his spine has become so curved that it's putting pressure on his heart and lungs, so they are going to straighten it out vertebrae by vertebrae.
The little guy is somewhat of a medical miracle just because he's managed to make it as long as he has -12 yrs, in spite of his disabilities.
He doesn't speak, but he does recognize his family, and anyone who visits him.
He has some use of his arms and loves to play with toys that light up and make noise.
If you talk to him, he will give you a smile that lights up the room. And most of the time he smiles.
Any prayers for him are most appreciated-Thank you.
