DNA and The Book of Mormon Explained full-length video
FAIR MORMON ^ | Published on Feb 18, 2013

Miraculous claims surrounding the coming forth of the Book of Mormon are an evidence of the prophetic calling of Joseph Smith. Critics intent on discrediting the Restoration point to DNA studies on indigenous American peoples in an attempt to expose Joseph, the Book of Mormon, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as frauds. Claiming that scientific evidence excludes any possibility that Middle Eastern or ancient Jewish travelers came to the Americas in antiquity, such critics attempt to sow seeds of doubt in the minds of Latter-day Saints and those of other faiths concerning the authenticity of the Book of Mormon as an ancient religious text.

Are these studies credible? Do the data actually show what the critics claim? Do they discredit the Book of Mormon, or is there biological and other scientific evidence that supports the claims that it is indeed an ancient record of a people that once inhabited the Americas?

The Foundation for Apologetic Information and Research (FAIR) interviews scholars and scientists to answer these important questions and reveals the faith-affirming truth that not only are the critics' conclusions and methods flawed, but that there is credible scientific evidence in favor of the Book of Mormon as an ancient religious text.

That video is from last spring, as they were just beginning to lose their winter undercoat.

That was little Gracie checking out the camera so close.

EllieMae’s udder seems to be working fine now, even if she is a bit, shall we say, lop-sided.

I get about a pint out of her daily, and the barn cats are lined up waiting for it!

She does bloat up quite large and this worries me, but she seems to go down. She makes this sound all the time: Errr... err... err...

I rub her belly/throat and try to get her to burp it out.

She had a snotty nose last week, but with this weather temps swinging so widely back and forth, it’s no wonder.

It was 58 degrees last week: 6 this morning - I’m darned tired of it all!

Better to be ‘spanked’ now; than to hear later, “...I never knew you.”

The coffee is extra special this morning for some reason. Might be the month end crunch has been satisfied once again and that anxiety caused by lack of serious non profit donors has passed once again.

Used to be very easy to meet those numbers. I can understand how the boss might get tired of hearing certain lightweights weeping and wailing for a lost cause. If we could convert fifty or so of the ten percenters in a new direction with their dough things would be better for the boss. Us too...

And speaking of DNA.

Jim, many of LDS has refrain from posting on this but it seems when the LDS stop, a few others have daily non-stop continued to malign us 24/7!

It's hilarious to see mormons whine about Christians who are pointing out the lies of mormonism when there are 80,000+ mormon missionaries spending their days, 24/7 proclaiming to Christians that their faith is bogus and the only way to salvation is through arcane rituals in mormon temples.

Let us know when the mormon church stops this evil practice restornu.

And...speaking of evil practices, LEAVE THE DEAD IN PEACE! and stop the revolting practice of proxy baptism into mormonism!

Mormons Hijack Dead or Alive Jewish Souls

"A protest drive initiated by Jewish genealogists escalated it to a nationally publicized issue that was followed by public outcry. American Jewish leaders considered it an insult and a major setback for interfaith relations. They initiated discussions with the Mormon Church that culminated in a voluntary 1995 agreement by the Church to remove the inappropriate names. Activists continue to monitor Mormon baptismal lists, seeking removal of inappropriate entries. Has the church done anything to uphold its decade-old agreement with the Jewish community? The bad news is that the Mormons continue to hijack Jewish genocide victims and other Jewish dead. Moreover, when a Jew is baptized, the door is open for all of his deceased ancestors to be baptized as well. Regrettably, their baptismal records place before the public a revisionist view that these deceased Jews were Mormons, a position they would have rejected in life.

A commentator on this topic said that anti-Semites who desecrate Jewish cemeteries want to destroy even the memory of Jews by breaking their tombstones and other symbols whereby we honor and remember them. He concluded that baptism of the Jewish dead is just a more sophisticated form of breaking tombstones.

The Empty Cradle by Jack Hillers of the Powell Expeditions. Her silence is sadness.

Now after living in these regions for 17 years the stories regarding the "Mormon Approach" 1865-1900 get very interesting.

I am sure the Tea Party feels Silence is golden and how Obama measures out the fairness doctrine, the arm of the IRS or how ever else he feels in his mind to correct things that our constitution got wrong etc.

With reference to Southern Utah. Jacob Hamblin is revered in Kanab. Little talk in certain circles regarding this and other matters including his "Other Wives".

Another Point of View

So much for “seeking truth”...I guess we just don’t “seek understanding from the Lord” well enough...otherwise we would be able to just “understand” and not worry about “truth”.

Show me in the Bible where Jesus ever silent another voice?

anyone could believe what they wanted too (there are over 3K churches or more in the world preaching as well as other religions) but the Lord’s doctrine too was also to be heard it is up to man to discern which one is correct among the many voices.

The way the Lord set up the world we all had agency to chose for ourselves, and this nation was set up so men could have sovereignty.

Resty why do you make it so easy for Bible readers ???

Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. Matthew 22:34

as for those Pharisees ???

No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions. Matthew 22:46
