Note the first group in Revelation 20:6 have part in the first resurrection which is the resurrection of Christ. The second group standing before God (verse 12) are twice referred to as dead.

There is a great misunderstanding about the first and second resurrections. There are only two. The first and the second. The first resurrection includes all believers who are resurrected to eternal life and isn’t just one event. The second includes all unbelievers who are resurrected to judgment.
