Yet he still based his argument on these writings, thereby conceding that there is no genuine biblical proof of the Assumption.
Do you want proof or evidence? And do you want it from an infallible source (e.g. the Magisterium) or only the Bible (which to clarify is infallible)? And I have to date seen no one disprove that Rev. 12 refers to Mary.

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

So, essentially, you are saying the earlier popes were wrong about the assumption of Mary being heresy.
How is that being led by the Holy Spirit?
How do you know what else from them they might have been wrong about?

When will you accept the whole Bible instead of ignoring that (and many other) verses?
1 John 3:21-24
Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

Where does Catholicism teach that any doctrines and dogmas need to be cleared with her first
According to your fellow FR Catholics Mary seems to pull a lot of weight. She’s the “co-redemtrix” and that’s not something to take lightly!

Where do any Popes state that it is heresy to believe the Assumption? Keep in mind this must be a condemnation specifically of the Assumption. If it is a condemnation of a group, keep in mind that would mean the Church can't teach that Christ was crucified, as the Arians believed this (their problem was in denying the divinity of Christ).

if you believe in Scripture why dont you stand up when you are at Church on the Lords Day and confess you sins to one another?Wrong verse...The verse says faults, not sins...And it is for one who is sick among you, the elders come, confess their faults to one another and fervently pray to God for the healing of the sick...

Certainly, she can intercede for us. However, this in no way establishes any Catholic belief that all doctrines and dogmas must be cleared with her first.

Of course images do NOT need to come from catholic sites...LOLOLOL....The catholic church is well known to push their product everywhere so its no surprise that is where you will find them. The images are a dime a dozen anywhere on line.....No one needs to just go to catholic sites for them. when you use images from browsers they will of course take you everywhere .... Come on..get real!"------------------------------------------------------------
No, I just went straight to the web site where you posted those two pictures from, and the truth is, that is not a Catholic web site, nor is it affiliated with any Catholic organization.
(Do you do a lot of studying on that web site, caww? Do you study the "Kabbalah" a lot, like that guy "Neville Goddard", who is featured prominently on that web site did, before his earthly demise?)

Well that’s nice you have a ‘collective’ agreement I suppose, and for that you feel comfortable sharing such.
But it appears this doctrine was dogmatically defined by Pope Pius XII on November 1, 1950,... in the Apostolic Constitution Munificentissimus Deus..... by exercising papal infallibility.
So it was a name it claim it sort of thing for the Pope?
