This author types as though the author wishes for chaos. Bet the author panicked a long time ago.

This post is correct. Maybe B-chan was prescient. Israel in the OT often treated the true prophets of the Lord similarly.

The Left knew what it was doing when it set its sights on taking over the legal system decades ago.

The U.S. Is Over, Get Used To It

Dog bites man.

Our nation became what it is because at a time when we had true free markets we got rich rebuilding the entire world, and we were willing to go spectacularly in debt.

The party’s over. The world is rebuilt and can do fine on its own. It’s even competing with us. We are like a family with a really good income, going in debt that matches our income, and then our income permanently declines significantly.

Yeah, we’re gonna lose the house and the boat. Probably the Porsche too. But we still have the Chevy and there’s a nice double wide that we can get pretty reasonable after the bankruptcy is done.

I hate to break this news to you, especially if you are one of these people who think that this country, a country founded with limited government, separation of powers, and federalism, is still recoverable by normal means, it isn’t.

This is why I bought the small farm in central KY where I now live back in 2008, just two weeks before the election - AND I THOUGHT MCCAIN WAS GOING TO WIN.

There is no human solution to our dilemma. And make no mistake, it’s not the US that is in trouble, it is western civilization as we know it.

Wonder why this author believes that this author is not part and parcel of the government? Never understood people believing such. Author, of this piece, must never have learned the truth. The are segments of all governments. One segment is the elected or appointed. One segment is all the people not elected or appointed. Last time I counted the number of people not elected or appointed we outnumbered the elected and appointed. Guess the author does not understand that truth. Why not work to unite the people not elected or appointed, dear author? It might not work but what if it does work? Why surrender, Patrick Archbold?

“...at least not by regular constitutional means. ...”

Indeed.

And the first soldier that comes back with Ebola will perhaps cause us to consider a different ending to “Seven Days in May”.

No thanks. Think I'll hang around a little longer to see if there is an encore.

....the U.S. is done. And you know what? That may be a good thing. Such government, even one founded on the principles of limited constitutional powers and federalism, can only work for a people for whom Christ is their King. That isn't us. I don't know where we go from here, but I suspect that it is bad. I continue to believe I have a moral obligation to behave in a lawful way, but I no longer consider myself bound in loyalty to a government that has has moved beyond the powers granted to it....
....Calvinism isn't a religion of subservience to any government. The great national myths of Calvinist cultures are all of wars against imperialist oppressors: the Dutch against the Spanish, the Scots against the English; the Americans against the British. So when the Chinese house churches first emerged from the rubble of the Cultural Revolution in the 80s and 90s "They began to search what theology will support and inform [them]. They read Luther and said, 'not him'. So they read Calvin, and they said 'him, because he has a theology of resistance.' Luther can't teach them or inform them how to deal with a government that is opposition."
-- from the thread Chinese Calvinism flourishes

No, because “the times of the gentiles” is not a thing to embrace.

I agree. All of it stems from this:

Such government, even one founded on the principles of limited constitutional powers and federalism, can only work for a people for whom Christ is their King. That isn't us.

The people are corrupt and depraved, yet are self satisfied. The Judges of Sodom rule.

evil wins when good people do nothing, same can be said for communist and socialist ideals.

If we give up we will certainly lose, thankfully the residents of Lexington and Concord didn’t feel this way.

The moment Stonewall died, IT died.

Stonewall wanted to found a true Christian nation in the South after the war and said if that was not the result of a Southern victory, then the entire struggle was for naught.

IT was for naught, and 150 years later the patient has died.

Issues we wouldn’t even bring up in polite society is now codified into law.

God’s judgement is real and over due.

This is why I am a monarchist. Christ is my King. His Kingship trumps every despot and preening politico that ever walked the face of the earth.

BTW, we lve in a theocracy whether we like it or not. I agree that our problems exist because we have turned our backs on God. It is possible that like Ninevah we could repent and be saved, but it doesn't look that way.

Until then, we have chosen tyranny and tyranny is what we will get.

This is what happens when America Asks For A King, as Laura Hollis told US way back on Oct 26, 2008.

We want; we got, then we got again.

Now it's BOHICA every day, baby!

I tend to agree. America has become the opposite of everything it once was and once represented. An abject sewer of tyranny and depravity. This is certainly no longer the country I pledged allegiance to, and certainly not a country I would fight and die to preserve. Not a country that has sunk so low and is so degenerate as to equate two homo perverts as the same as a married couple, and is now using the power of the state to crush anyone who doesn’t bow down and submit to this.

But I still have the vigor and single-minded determination to continue to fight evil. Even if that evil is now fully inhabiting and in control of the country I live in.
