Francis laments that world powers did nothing to save Jewish, Christian, gays from Nazi death camps.

ROME — Pope Francis on Sunday denounced what he called the “great powers” of the world for failing to act when there was intelligence indicating Jews, Christians, homosexuals and others were being transported to death camps in Europe during World War II.

He also decried the deaths of Christians in concentration camps in Russia under the Stalin dictatorship, which followed the war....

I am not up on Pope laws and regulations. Is there a system in place to recall one? This one appears to have sold his soul.

You left out:

5. The Allies did not want to risk their own lives, to lay down their lives, to save Jewish victims and refugees.

You don’t waste bombs on a railway not having any military significance.

When will the Pope speak out on the sodomization of the Vatican? When will the Pope be a voice of moral truth in the Catholic Church, instead of the voice of the cafeteria catholics and atheists the world over. The church is imploding from within and not nary a word from him. He’s too busy siding with Obama on every radical leftist cause this side of the moon.

The Pope doesn’t understand anything about war tactics. Bombing just the tracks would have delayed the death trains by a few days, not longer, and thousands would have died by suffocation inside the cattle-cars (My relatives died in either Belzec and/or Auschwitz)

Bombing the main gates of Auschwitz or any other concentration camp, plus the administrative buildings, outer guard towers and the ovens, would have given the prisoners a possibility to escape (but to what/where) the camp.

This presumes the kind of pin-point accuracy existed back in WWII. The bombers of the day didn't have the capability to precision bomb as planes today.

It would have also killed a lost of Nazis/SS and perhaps a few Gestapo agents.

In addition to a lot of the POWs.

The prisoners had nothing to lose by the Allies bombing their camps, and possibly some might have escaped to join Partisan groups or flee to Russia (where they would have been rounded up like Begin and put into slave labor camps or put into the Red Army).

True. We do have survivor accounts from some that hoped the bombers would have hit the camps to have ended the suffering.

If only we had done something at that time. FDR and his advisors were the role model for Obama and his cowards/sissies and leftists) in NOT taking out ISIS when they were on the open roads of Iraq.

From what I've read on the topic the Allies were aware of what was happening in the camps. FDR though did not want the war effort to be viewed as one of liberating the Jews. It would not have been a popular reason to fight the war.

Says a lot, of the truth, about the cowardice of Democrat leaders, and that truth has been paid in a lot of blood.

5. The Allies did not want to risk their own lives, to lay down their lives, to save Jewish victims and refugees.

Yet, they were willing to risk their lives to bomb Essen, Regensburg and Berlin, trying to win the war.

Which renders your point moot.

Maybe it is his health. It’s all very disturbing.

Or maybe you are seeing the real Pope.

No; they were not risking their lives to save the Jews, which is the point.

Yeah, the Allies didn't bomb the railroads because they wanted the Germans to kill all the Jews. They were willing to risk and lay down their lives for anyone else under German control but not Jews.

How easily you defame the men that brought victory over the Germans. At least you waited 5 weeks before doing so, yet only 16 days after the commemoration of D-Day. I bet your point of view was on the minds of all the men that hit the beaches that day. "Let's get the Germans unless that will save Jews."

Bombing just the gates in WW2 was impossible. Bombing wasn't that good and JDAM’s weren't invented yet
