Listen to Sermon-Its worth it ^ | 6/28/2015 | Christ the King Catholic Church

Feeling down about the Catholic Church and the homosexual marriage ruling? Give a listen to this Maryland priest's sermon. He goes after homosexuals in the priesthood, Martin Omally, and unfaithful Catholics. He speaks about the truth of marriage being one man andone woman. Pray for him as he said what needed to be said and may pay the price for it.

No better way to discredit yourself than to pull that dodge.

The Holy Spirit is a "dodge"?

Did you ever read in the Bible about what Jesus (again, you say you follow Him) had to say about this?

"Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."

Matthew 12:32

Poisoning the Well is a dodge. "Agree with me, or you don't have the Holy Spirit"???

That's awfully close to blasphemy. In fact, I think it crosses the line.

Repent!!!

Turn away from the Catholic church (I did), and turn to Jesus Christ. There is no hope in an organziation led by the Marxist/Fascist/UnBiblical Francis.

Would you also say "Turn away from the United States of America. There is no hope in an organziation led by the Marxist/Fascist/UnBiblical Obama. "?

What is the "United State of America" to you?

Is it this guy?

He is YOUR President, our President, right? Does that make him holy?

What do you put your trust in? Have you accepted, personally, Jesus Christ as your Savior? Have you got down on your knees and accepted Him? I am not talking about any "Sacrament." Have you done this in your heart? If you have not, then you are not saved. If you have not, then you are going to Hell when you die.

Blasphemy? Defined by who or whom?!

People like you, when given secular power, tortured and killed those who believed in Jesus Christ.

Apparently metaphor is lost on you.

The fact that an organization has a bad leader does not make it a bad organization.

You chose to identify agreement with your denominational choice as "having the Holy Spirit" ... You chose to condemn as "not having the Holy Spirit" anyone who disagrees with you.

You are not the Holy Spirit.

Your comments are blasphemous.

Repent!!!

I knew...I just knew that somewhere in this lunatic, changing Catholic/Christian world there would be a priest that was true, loyal, articulate, inspiring and holy. I just did not expect him to originate in Maryland. Perhaps the name of the state kept him strong.
It is to rejoice.

2 Corinthians is an excellent choice, since Paul was dealing with disagreements among the faithful.

12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the things freely given us by God.

13 And we speak about them not with words taught by human wisdom, but with words taught by the Spirit, describing spiritual realities in spiritual terms.

Oops! Meant to say “1 Corinthians”. Second big mistake today on FR.

I will blame it on the terrible knee pain I am suffering today due to a sprain. I think it is time to log off for the day, or, at least, until after I see the doctor.

The tone of your posts suggest to me that you are more like a sounding gong...as there is no reflection of love there at all.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” I Corinthians 13:4-7

- He is the successor of St. Peter.

- They are the successors of the Apostles.

You posted a picture of Jesus Crucified, and FWIW, I commend you for it. There have often been remarks made against Catholics for not focusing on the Risen Christ, while worshipping Him as He was on the Cross. That Cross was the Altar of His Ultimate Sacrifice. Each day, at Mass Jesus is worshipped in His Divinity; His Life and Word on earth; His Passion, Death, and Resurrection; His Glory now, from all eternity, for all eternity.

I pray for the grace not to abandon Him, for as His Earthly Body suffered, died, and rose again, so must the Mystical Body of which He is the Head. To abandon the Church which He founded at the price of His Blood would be to lose our greatest Treasure: the Eucharist. We do worship Him, in all aspects possible in this life. And we worship and receive Him, Body and Blood; Soul and Divinity. Yes, Divinity as well, for when Jesus is present, so is the Father; so is the Spirit.

We are brethren in that we are followers and worshippers of Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God. We are Christians. We choose to remain Catholic at the cost of derision in the world; dissent within the Church; all that has plagued is throughout the last two millennia. We are not a building, we are a people.

For myself and all my Christian brethren, I pray with all my heart that we shall have courage and remain steadfast in the times to come. A Catholic Christian finds this in the Sacraments that Jesus gave us. And if I die for the sake of all this, then, God help me, my poor, miserable life will have been well-spent. I left once; I beg God I may never leave again. May we rejoice together in Heaven one day; may God give us strength in the tribulation now, and that to come- for we, and you, my brother love Jesus Christ- that is our common bond!

May He bless and keep you, and all men of good will who await His coming! Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

"If you want to destroy something. You do it best from within."

As Our Lord Himself was subverted by one He has chosen. He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me. Interesting book: AA-1026 the story of a Communist assigned to become a priest in order to do that very thing.

The fact that an organization has a bad leader does not make it a bad organization.

Not only does the Catholic church have the evil, Marxist, secular, earth worshiping Francis as his head - it is inherently devoid of sound Biblical doctrine, and has been for hundreds of years.

Just like Obama has been a scourge on America, you and Catholics earned your Francis.
