Are you suggesting that Jesus is the Author of a cult?

No, rather that you assemble with a Protestant derived faith community where you learned antisemitism.

has argued that there's no hope for the Jews.

False; nonsporting in post 11 wrote

" Not “Judeo-Christian”, but simply “Christian.” This is what the Bible says of the Jew: “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” (1 John 2:22,23) This country was founded by Christians, not by Christ-rejecting Jews. Judaism rejects Jesus Christ. Consequently, they do not have the Father. They do not worship the same God. Who do they worship? Jesus in John 8 identifies their “father”. "

You approved of these antisemitic comments in post 18 with

"Well said" and "Those who pray for a restoration of fleshly Israel are not praying "Thy will be done." Instead, they are praying against the Lord's will: "Thy will NOT be done."

Bold emphasis mine; both of your comments are historical in the sense that they demonstrate how the Holocaust could happen even in America if enough people shared these views.

I don't know if it works that way or not, but when it comes to how God works and the supernatural, I've always tended to be somewhat simple-minded, even before those last few rounds of head trauma.

After reading The Harbinger and thinking through how it connects the dots, dots I'd never even heard about, let alone considered how they might be connected, I agreed with Rabbi Cahn.

And then considering how much the events of 2008 rocked and radically changed my world, I'm pretty open-minded now about whatever might happen this time.

This one got off to an interesting start right out of the gate and that pace has never let up and is going in all the wrong directions. That can't be good/probably won't be pleasant.

Oh well, just have to wait and see what happens...can't do much about it now, not way down here at my pay-grade.

I used to be freaked out by it, but now I'm more or less at peace with things. What will be has to be.

So now the Holocaust is Jesus’ fault??

So to sum up, He’s started a anti-semitic cult, based on the teachings of Balaam the son of Beor, which is the cause of pogroms and holocausts?

Just wow.

Look, friend, you might not like the Messiah’s judgment against the nation that rejected Him. But you’d be wise to re-think your own response, lest you find yourself joining them in rebellion against The Lord’s Annointed.

Pick the right side, my friend.

False; it was the fault of Gentiles who pretended to be Christians of some sort or another and hated the Jews.

False; the Messiah is against those who hold the doctrine of Baalam.

That would not be Baalam's side.

Okay, well you've got the words of Jesus quoted in others' posts and my own. And there are many others I can offer if you'd like to read and consider them. Again and again Jesus issues the same warning of judgment against Israel, which Peter echoes in Acts 2: "Save yourselves from this crooked generation."

You must make your own choice whether to stand with the Christ or against Him.

You are blaming all Jews in every generation for the actions of some Jews in a particular generation, which is the classic antisemitism that fed the Holocaust.

You must make your own choice whether to stand with the Christ or against Him.

I stand with the Messiah against those who hate the Jews.

No, not at all. The Jews of Jesus' generation were the culmination of the nation's historical rejection of God. In their final rejection of His own dear Son, they sealed the fate of their nation.

Jesus came to establish a spiritual kingdom, and was rejected because it wasn't a physical one. Those Jews who today accept their Messiah are not seeking a restoration of the physical nation of Israel. They understand that "there is neither Jew nor Greek", that such distinctions have been abolished.

Who persecuted Jesus and His Jewish disciples? Why, Jews, of course. Jews who hated God's Messiah. Jews who followed Paul (a Jew) from town to town stirring up trouble for him. Jews who preached "another gospel" to lead Gentile disciples to hell.

These are the ones Paul writes about in Galatians:

"Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia and answereth to the Jerusalem that now is: for she is in bondage with her children. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother...
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, so also it is now."

The Bible story is the story of a remnant saved. The Jewish remnant were in the kingdom of God when Paul wrote Romans (11:5). And the remnant of Jews - and Gentiles - are being added to the kingdom to this day.

I love this Scripture:

“The LORD says to my Lord, ‘Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool”—psalm 110

Though we don’t yet see everything put in subjection under Him...we WILL! I have been coming to more of that place you’re in, too. Actually is exciting watching the End seemingly unfold before us.

No, not at all. The Jews of Jesus' generation were the culmination of the nation's historical rejection of God. In their final rejection of His own dear Son, they sealed the fate of their nation.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be muy people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah, Catholic chapter thirty one, Protestant verses thirty one to thirty seven,

Indeed. It is in this covenant that the "middle wall of partition" between Jew and Gentile is removed, and Gentiles are now part of Israel, having become spiritual Jews:

"ye were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus ye that once were far off are made nigh in the blood of Christ." - Eph. 2:12-13

One covenant for Jew and another for Gentile? No. One kingdom for Jew and another for Gentile? No. But rather:

"There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all." - Eph. 4:4-6

A new kingdom, for Jews, in earthly Jerusalem? Not according to the Scriptures. Instead, both Jew and Gentile alike are welcome in Christ's kingdom, entering on His terms. The remnant of Israel accept the Messiah and enter in. The rest are rejected and cast out, as Jesus said:

"There shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and yourselves cast forth without. And they shall come from the east and west, and from the north and south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God." - Luke 13:28-29

There are Gentiles, who profess and imagine themselves to be spiritual Jews, but have denied the Messiah by disobeying his commandment, and by despising the least of his brethren, will be cast out too, and they will be surprised.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Matthew, Catholic chapter twenty five. Protestant verses thirty one to forty six,

I noticed you ignored the second portion of Jeremiah that I posted. I would not be surprised if that is never read in the faith communities you attend.

How very true!

The Master demands the same from Gentile disciples as from Jewish disciples:

"For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring" - Rom. 9:6-7 (ESV)

"And if ye are Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise." - Gal. 3:29

"For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh: but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart" - Rom. 2:28-29

No, I don’t ignore it.

Who is this Israel, of whom God spoke through Jeremiah? The rebellious Israel or the obedient Israel? (See my post #56.)

I wrote that you ignored it in the comment I posted and you did ignore it. Now you claim you don't ignore it. The text in Jeremiah is quite clear.

I am well aware of how Bible only professors twist the scriptures and appeal to Paul to justify their antisemitism, imagining that they are going to be judged by faith alone..

And also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Do you know what happened to Jews who rejected the Messiah? This excerpt from a sermon by an "antisemite" (as you would say) explains their fate:

"Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me. To him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you. And it shall be, that every soul that shall not hearken to that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people."

Wow! That sort of talk is bound to lead to a holocaust, isn't it?
