I got a call from My old Boss at a Water Plant in Texas about one of the Plant Operators being involved in a train wreck the other night on the way to work. He was Airlifted by chopper to the Hospital in critical condition that required surgery to remove His Spleen, several feet of Intestine removed,bruised Lungs,Head lacerations and multiple broken Vertebra in His neck. Last I heard He made it through surgery and was in a Medically induced Coma.
I'm requesting Prayers for Steve, His Wife and Family as well as the Medical Team treating Him. He is over weight and a Diabetic. A few weeks ago He had to be treated with IV Antibiotics for a cut on His foot as Oral wasn't working.
So far the HR Dept is crapping on the situation due to He has used up all His sick/vacation and FMLA time.

Lord God, Jesus Christ, please grant complete healing to Thy servant Steve, comfort his family and guide his doctors.

UPDATE:
Neurologist changed his collar and did motion tests. Explained his fracture and that his ligaments are still intact so no surgery... for now. Also he has fluid in his spine so they are watching him for 24-48 hours for any numbness, tingling, etc.
Did find out that he ran into the train. Way better than the train hitting him!
He was just put on night shift after working days so fatigue may have been a problem. Shifts at the plant are 12 hours that you work 2 on,3 off then 3on,2 off and swap from days to nights every month.
I have worked that schedule and it is not easy to do.

I am so sorry i haven’t responded ... too many calls and i didn’t want to be bothered so i shut it off. Went by Human Resources yesterday and took care of Steve’s business.
Well, Steve is doing better ... he is on a clear liquid diet today. He is still in ICU. His CT looked good. No bleeding in his brain. Yeah!!! His neurologist came in and wants him to sit up and possible stand a little so he doesn’t develop pneumonia.
BUT, he is bleeding when he has bowel movement so they gave him 2 units of blood yeaterday and will be having more today. Just when we think he is doing good, he takes a major step back. Keeping faith in God.
