I saw a Tsunami hit the United States
Destiny Encounters International ^ | 6/7/18 | Charlie Shamp

Posted on 06/16/2018 8:24:30 AM PDT by The Truth Will Make You Free

I heard the Lord speak, “I have extended an olive branch of peace to the United States of America and will extend Donald Trump’s presidency into a second term by the power of my right hand. What I have done in the White House will happen with every branch of Government in the United States for I will pull out corruption and plant trees of righteousness that will bear much fruit. Even now the ax is laid to the root of these corrupt trees. Every tree which does not bear good fruit will be cut down, pulled out and thrown into the fire! There will come forth new terms filled with peace, branches will grow out of righteous roots.” ...

The Lord spoke to me again, “As a sure sign of these things coming to pass there will be a wave of conservatives elected during the midterm election in November 2018, it will be Breaking News. They will carry the House and the Senate and I will uproot, replant and rebuild the nation.” ...

I saw the House of Representatives stay in the hands of the Republicans and will move much more to a conservative position. I could see into the Senate and saw the Republicans gain 9 seats, those that took their place were considerably more conservative then those who had previously been there.

And we are STILL exhorted to live holy lives and to not live in sin.

Just because God expended His wrath on Jesus at Calvary, does not mean He is going to over look sin.

Church discipline is a part of church life in the NT.

A nation that continues in immorality will not be blessed by God even if individual believers are.

Jesus paid the price for our sins, but again, the individual has to acknowledge that.

You're confusing two issues.

Issue 1: Sin. God completely judged the sins of the world on the body of his Son Jesus Christ. Thus, God is not judging people or nations again for the same sins he judged on Christ on the cross because that would be unrighteous double jeopardy and God is not unrighteous.

Issue 2: Christ. This issue now is CHRIST. One must revive Christ to have eternal life.

All of that was before the cross.

The sins of the whole world including America’s have now been judged completely on the body of Jesus Christ (1 John 2:2).

I’ve heard more than enough of false preaching that God is going to bless the US in spite of its sin because of the believers in this country.

But I’ll tell you, Christians in America are one of the most carnal bunch going.

The Laodicean church in Revelation is the state of the church in America today.

If God doesn’t judge this country, he owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology.

All sin has already been dealt with on the cross. Persisting in doing stupid things can bring stupid results. But God is judging NO ONE for sin because he already has done so on the body of his Son.

No, even prophets are capable of missing it by a small percentage, because they misinterpreted a small portion. For example, his prediction that Republicans will take 9 Senate seats may include some they already possess. The number of Senate seats up for grabs are 35, of which 26 are held by Democrats. So you see what I mean? He is perhaps right that Republicans will grab 9 Senate seats, though he may have misinterpreted as gaining 9 Senate seats. Hopefully he gets 100%, but I will pay more attention to him even if he only gets 90% correct.

Not in God's economy. That's just an excuse to deceive the gullible.

Deuteronomy 18:15-22 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen— just as you desired of the Lord your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.’ And the Lord said to me, ‘They are right in what they have spoken. I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him.

But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

Would you care to explain that little incident in Acts with Ananias and Sapphira?

You need to reconcile “the world” - which has been OFFERED salvation - with the need to RECEIVE it by faith. There are hundreds of versus pertaining to that requirement.

25 “‘Son,’ Abraham said, ‘remember that during your life you received your good things, just as Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, while you are in agony. 26 Besides all this, a great chasm has been fixed between us and you, so that those who want to pass over from here to you cannot; neither can those from there cross over to us.’

27 “‘Father,’ he said, ‘then I beg you to send him to my father’s house— 28 because I have five brothers—to warn them, so they won’t also come to this place of torment.’

29 “But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; they should listen to them.’

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said. ‘But if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “But he told him, ‘If they don’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded if someone rises from the dead.’” - Jesus in Luke 16

14 “Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. 16 For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Anyone who believes in him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. - Jesus in John 3

And another, a third angel, followed them and spoke with a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, which is poured full strength into the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb, 11 and the smoke of their torment will go up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or anyone who receives the mark of its name. 12 This calls for endurance from the saints, who keep God’s commands and their faith in Jesus.” - Rev 14

41 “Then he will also say to those on the left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels! 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink; 43 I was a stranger and you didn’t take me in; I was naked and you didn’t clothe me, sick and in prison and you didn’t take care of me.’

44 “Then they too will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help you?’

45 “Then he will answer them, ‘I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” - Jesus in Matthew 25

37 He replied: “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man; 38 the field is the world; and the good seed—these are the children of the kingdom. The weeds are the children of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. 40 Therefore, just as the weeds are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom all who cause sin and those guilty of lawlessness. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s kingdom. Let anyone who has ears listen. - Jesus in Matthew 13

[[but can you go so far as to label this man a false prophet,]]

Considering that he got several ‘prophesies’ wrong- then tried to excuse them later- and in some cases changed his ‘prophecies’ after they didn’t come true and claimed God ‘convinced him’ to change his mind- so Yes- I’m fairly certain i can label him as such

There is no record that they were believers. Almost certainly they were not Christians. It appears they were faking it to be a part of the latest “fad” in Jerusalem. Everyone reaches a point where either they accept Christ, or, sadly, they reject Christ for the last time. The latter may have been the fate of Ananias and Sapphira posing as “fake” believers.

The overall trend might be moving left, but underneath it is a larger, opposite trend moving in a pro-America direction.

[[The Laodicean church in Revelation is the state of the church in America today.]]

Some churches- there are still remnants where God is truly at work- but those are fewer and fewer

I’ve also heard God will bless because of the few remaining faithful- but scriptures declare that in the end times things get worse- much worse- not better- We’re kicking God out of American life- and sin and sinners are becoming much much bolder and blatantly anti-Christian- The bible does not speak of a ‘great revival’ in end times like Mark proclaims- that is a theology from a cult called NAR revivalism (New Apostolic Reformation) - it is a cult wrapped up in ‘miraculous signs and wonders’- Here’s a short blurb on it- more can be found on that site-

[[The New Apostolic Reformation began in 1948 through the ‘New Order of the Latter Rain’ (NOLR) cult. This movement attempted to ‘restore’ the church by establishing a ‘New Order’ of an end-times government of Apostles and Prophets, ruling the world by triggering a global spiritual revival/awakening thus ushering Jesus Christ’s return. They taught that man can become ‘gods’. Although they called this ‘Manifest Sons of God’, it has been repackaged repeatedly under many names.]]

90% accuracy is not good enough. The biblical standard is 100% if God has given a prophecy it will be fulfilled 100% to the smallest detail. If not it is a false prophecy. The penalty for false prophets is death. Prophecy is a serious thing.

We are not called to be political activists.

Yes, we vote, and we pray for our country, but the end times are coming if not here already, and God is setting the stage.

God would be unjust to bring tribulation on a world He has already allegedly judged in Jesus Christ.

So that line of thinking cannot be right, that God will bless us anyways, regardless of our sin.

He still chastises the individual believer for sin in their lives. He will do so to a nation that has not just passively rejected Him but actively kicked Him out of public life and turned to sin instead.

I am, sadly, all too familiar with the NAR and the word of faith kind of preaching. I had some friends who were into that kind of theology and finally had to cut ties with them.

As far as God blessing the few remaining faithful, that’s doubtful, too. That’s simply American entitlement thinking that has infected the church.

Try telling that the the persecuted church around the world who are suffering horrific things for naming the name of Christ, even to the point of giving their lives for their faith.

There is no record that they were believers.

And there's no record they weren't believers.

That's just rationalization to make the event fit your theology.

Paul also gives instructions in Corinthians for the man who was in immorality with his mother-in-law.

God dealt with sin at the cross but that does not mean we can sin without consequence since then. That is demonic thinking. God will NOT bless a person, a people, or a nation that turns their back on Him and chooses to live in unrepentant sin.

1 Peter 4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

God is Truth and whatever He says is true.

Satan if the father of lies.

If some prophecy does not come true, then it was a lie, not just a *mistake*, and therefore has only ONE origin.

Satan never lies completely. That would be too obvious.

He ALWAYS mixes truth in with his lies to make it more palatable. Actually, the more truth, the easier it is for people to justify overlooking the lies.

100%

Or he’s a false prophet.
