Solar panel producer SolarCity managed to raise $305 million thanks to a massive investment from an equity fund affiliated with billionaire liberal George Soros. A private investment fund tied to Quantum Strategic Partners Ltd provided the company the bulk of the investment. Soros Fund Management LLC advised the fund. The deal also includes an 18-year-loan with several other investment groups, the company said Monday in a press release. Both the loan and the cash infusion came as technology entrepreneur Elon Musk attempts to merge SolarCity and electric vehicle maker Tesla Motors. Musk is the chairman of both companies and owns...

It’s often not the crime that undoes a politician, it’s the attempted cover-up. In Hillary Clinton’s case there’s no real crime, of course – no one can fault her for falling ill yet still ploughing through her schedule. On the contrary, it’s rather admirable. But what the world saw on Sunday as she fell into her car was deeply distressing. She was clearly unable to walk, propped up against a pillar and held steady by an aide. Her head wobbled, her knees buckled. And down she went... ...Her supporters have rushed to remind us that other presidents were even frailer....

If you read the full ruling you will see the number of times that the tribe has either refuted studies which they themselves requested or simply failed to respond at all to questions raised about their objections in court. This wasn’t a search for answers and valid science, but legal maneuvering to simply shut down the project. And now, thanks to the White House, what was supposed to be a settled matter has multiple federal entities – including the Department of Justice, the Army and the Interior Department – dragged into the fray. The Army is claiming that a quick...

Washington (AFP) - Hillary Clinton's White House bid stumbled Monday as a bout of pneumonia gave her rival Donald Trump a new opening to question her fitness for office, while pledging to release details on his own health soon. In his first public comments since the Democrat Clinton was taken ill at a 9/11 ceremony in New York Sunday, an unusually subdued Trump offered her his wishes for a rapid recovery but also suggested that the former secretary of state's health issues were of longer standing than admitted. "Something is going on but I just hope she gets well and...

Physicians Almost Unanimous in Opposition to HIPAA 'Privacy' Rules New federal "privacy" rules could actually do more harm to patients than just compromising privacy, according to a national physician organization. A mailed survey of 344 physicians conducted by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) shows almost unanimous opposition to the HHS privacy rules, scheduled for full implementation in 2003. A whopping 96 percent thought the rules would further compromise patient privacy. Some of the other questions provide further clues about the practical effects of the rules. The poll results were disclosed at a news conference today in Washington,...

Hillary Clinton to Release More Medical Records After Pneumonia Diagnosis Campaign admits fault in delaying announcement that candidate was diagnosed with pneumonia By Laura Meckler Updated Sept. 12, 2016 12:19 p.m. ET 312 COMMENTS WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.—Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will release additional medical records this week, a spokesman said Monday, after a health-related stumble exiting a 9/11 ceremony put her well-being into the spotlight and reanimated critics’ complaints about secretiveness. Press secretary Brian Fallon also said the campaign made mistakes handling the situation on Sunday, specifically by not responding to questions for 90 minutes about Mrs. Clinton’s exit...

How important is bedside manner? Jul 30th, 2009 She is very cold and impersonal. She totally lacks compassion and when she is wrong about something, will never admit it. I referred people to her beause she is a decent diagnostician but no one would go back. She is called the ice queen and with good reason. she doesn't take time with her patients. There is NO warmth. ____________________ Unfriendly Jun 18th, 2010 Dr. Bardack always appears to be impatient, cold, even sarcastic. I have never seen her smile or express any interest in anything other than basic diagnostic questions. If...

I need to start this story off with a personal confession. I myself suffer from the same medical condition as Hillary Clinton, epilepsy. It is because I have lived it that I can confirm that the sunglasses seen in this picture were by no means normal sunglasses. Blue lenses are frequently used to reduce the light intake of epileptics to prevent seizures. I myself used to use them frequently when I would go to concerts to stop strobe lights from triggering me. Hillary Clinton has been shown countless times to also be triggered by flashing lights. They will often result...

Occidental College Republican Club wrote on Facebook that they had planted the flags on campus Saturday night, but at midnight, vandals had crushed, snapped and thrown each flag in the garbage and had instead put up posters and flyers up “that shamed the victims of 9/11.” College officials say they don’t know who is responsible for the vandalism, but are investigating and will take “appropriate disciplinary action.” Anyone with information can share the information at conduct@oxy.edu.

On September 9, 2016, Al-Qaeda's media wing Al-Sahab released a video message by the group's leader, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Al-Zawahiri reiterates the reasons behind the attacks and their impact on the U.S., and urges the mujahideen to focus on targeting the U.S. and its allies and to bring the battle onto Western soil. "As long as your crimes continue, the events of 9/11 will be repeated thousands of times, Allah willing," he says. Appealing to non-Muslim African-Americans, he blames their woes on the U.S. and calls to them to convert to Islam.

Bill Clinton’s former CIA chief James Woolsey will act as an adviser to Donald Trump’s campaign. Woolsey, who served as director of the CIA from 1993 to 1995 and describes himself as a life-long Democrat, praised Trump’s commitment to ending defense budget cuts from sequestration. He said he can’t support Hillary Clinton because of the controversy surrounding her use of a private email server as secretary of State. “She demonstrated a complete lack of understanding and an inability to lead the agency she headed in such a way as to maintain its mission and security,’ Woolsey said in a statement....

Will America have to suffer an even more catastrophic attack: nuclear, chemical or biological before we finally batten down the hatches, pull out all the stops and do whatever it takes to truly keep this nation safe? We know ISIS and the other radical Islamic crazies constantly attempt to insert operatives into America. In spite of this, our president wants to allow thousands of refugees into America, which we have already been told by ISIS will contain terrorists, and he even refuses to properly identify our blood enemy. Have we learned our lesson? Some of us have. But apparently, some...

At a recent stop in Worcester, Massachusetts, this week, Kiss brought its roadie for the day onstage, along with other members of the military past and present, and led the entire arena in the Pledge of Allegiance, something the band has done before. However, this one had a bit of a special message to a particular NFL player -- a not-so-subtle knock to the recent shenanigans by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, lead singer Paul Stanley said: “You should remember, patriotism is always cool. Loving your country is always cool. Standing up, respecting and honoring our military is always...
