Sweet, Beautiful, Soul-Saving Joy – A Homily for the Third Sunday of Advent Msgr. With so much confusion surrounding the whole issue of gender identity, transgenderism, and gender dysphoria, it can be refreshing to have a true expert come out and give us some well-researched facts on the matter. That is exactly what Dr. Michelle Cretella, president of the American College of Pediatricians, has done in this new video. Her remarks are direct and very hard-hitting. “Our bodies declare our sex,” opened Cretella in the video posted by The Daily Signal. “Biological sex is not assigned. Sex is determined at conception by our DNA. It is stamped into every cell of our bodies.” This...

In hindsight, the most important thing said this year came on Jan. 3. Chuck Schumer, leader of Senate Democrats, warned President-elect Trump he would pay a price for disputing intelligence officials’ findings of Russian meddling. “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer declared. Schumer was right about a vendetta, but wrong about timing. It’s now clear that intelligence officials already had started “getting back” at the next commander in chief. They started in the summer of 2016. In early August, Mike Morell, who was...

Unfortunately in the media, having actual experience in the field you're reporting on is not a prerequisite. Former NFL running back DeAngelo Williams clearly struck a nerve during a segment on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" where he questioned the knowledge of those making predictions of Sunday's marquee match-up between the New England Patriots at the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Palestinians will not meet with any United States officials regarding the peace process in the future, in response to US President Donald Trump’s recent decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, a senior diplomatic adviser to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told The Times of Israel on Sunday. The open-ended boycott includes Trump’s top peace envoy Jason Greenblatt, who is due here this week, as well as the US leader’s senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner. “No one from the American administration will be met to discuss peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis, because the [PA]...

A Texas man was sentenced to 52 years in prison on Friday after he admitted to decapitating his wife in front of her children. David Dauzat, 24, pleaded guilty to the 2016 death of his wife, Natasha Dauzet, 21, who was found with dozens of stab wounds. Dauzat agreed to the plea deal after Natasha’s family requested it to prevent the children from reliving the horrifying incident if the case went to trial, KWTX reported. “They didn’t want to put the children through a trial and have them relive those memories,” McLennan County Assistant District Attorney Michael Jarrett said.

And if you like to see how the same song can be handled completely differently, Gene Autry's Rudolph for Star Trek's Scotty's red nose. Not into Christmas? How about Cat Stevens' "Father and Son" for Indy Jones and his father?

Officials of President Trump's transition team plan to ask Special Counsel Robert Mueller to return "many tens of thousands" of transition emails they contend were unlawfully provided to him. But the prosecutor's office says emails being used in the investigation were properly obtained. What's new: A source close to Trump's transition, which still exists as a legal entity so it can shut down what was once a 1,000-person operation, said the transition will send a letter to Mueller informing him that some of the emails are privileged, and asking for their return. The transition says it is willing to provide...

Guy has already covered how this bill drastically benefits the middle class, despite liberals’ and the media’s panicked predictions about it. "The data proves that...

Back in November, Sen. Orrin G. Hatch, the 83-year-old Republican from Utah, was at the helm when the Senate's massive tax bill came through the Finance Committee. But Hatch also deputized four younger Republicans on the panel to serve as de facto co-chairmen over various parts of the legislation. This week, with a compromise bill marching toward final passage in both chambers, the House will take the unusual step of voting first - because a pair of senators, Thad Cochran, R-Miss., and John McCain, R-Ariz., are recuperating from, respectively, non-melanoma skin surgery and the side effects of cancer treatments. Hatch's...

Liberal radio host Thom Hartmann called President Trump's refusal to step down at the request of Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) "as blatant a demonstration of sexual harassment as I've ever seen. After the Senator politely demanded that Trump resign following a renewed series of allegations of sexual misconduct Trump callously blew her off. That's horrifying and clearly am impeachable offense." Gillibrand wasn't the only Democrat insisting that warmed over allegations ought to be enough to oust a sitting president. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore) also called on Trump to resign saying that "the sheer number of accusations represents a 'critical mass'...

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said opponents of the Republican tax reform plan did all they could to stop it and essentially conceded defeat before a vote scheduled for Tuesday. Sanders said on CBS’ “Face The Nation” there were too many forces opposing Democrats that they could not overcome. “We did everything that we could. But at the end of the day what you had is people like [Treasury Secretary Steven] Mnuchin, who is worth $300 to 400 million; the president of the United States, who is worth several billion dollars, as you mentioned; from four or five thousand lobbyists doing...

Dozens of adult migrants posed as children to get into Britain, a former Border Force chief admitted last night. After the Jungle refugee camp in Calais closed last year, 750 “vulnerable minors” were granted sanctuary in the UK as part of a deal struck with France. Concern was raised at the time that a number of them appeared to be over 18. Tony Smith, former director-general of the UK Border Force, said: “I am not confident all the vulnerable minors brought over from Calais were children. In fact, I am confident some of them were not and were actually adult...

Today is the anniversary of mankind's first powered flight, achieved at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on 17 December 1903 by pioneer American aviators Wilbur and Orville Wright (1867-1912 and 1871-1948, respectively). The Wrights - Dayton, Ohio bicycle mechanics - become interested in aviation as an avocation and embarked on a systematic experimental program that eventually led to their extraordinary success - of which movable wing parts and a lightweight engine were the key elements. Prior To the powered flight, the brothers completed over one thousand glides from atop Big Kill Devil Hill. These flying skills were a crucial component of...
